Nice to see some different drivers at the top of the field for a change, but once again the impartiality of the race directors surely has to be called into question.
Was it just co-incidence that the safety car took so long to be deployed after the first crash? Rather fortunate that Jenson had just got through his pit stop before the safety car came out...No such delay in deploying it for the second crash!
Also, how did Rubens get through that race without a penalty?
As for Trulli being bumped from third AFTER the podium celebrations, what a joke. Surely they could have made that decision before letting the poor guy go up and celebrate!

Also, how did Rubens get through that race without a penalty? No idea, especially as Vettel got two: www.planet-f1.com/story/0,18954,3213_5117443,00.html

Are you still tee heeing, Mrs Miggins? Ferrari need to sack their drivers. Schumi, that was obvious last season around the time of Silverstone.

What happened to the camera looking vertically downwards on the first bend and how did it miss Barichello playing skittles with about 4 other drivers. ;D ;D

I don't agree with the stewards' decision at all. Trulli was third at the chequered flag, so that's how it should remain, unless the car itself is deemed illegal.

Not sure if you were disagreeing with what I said or what they did....Either way: For my sins, I am a fan of the redneck, low tech, sport of NASCAR...and they know how to run things. When a driver crosses the line, that's where he finishes. He can take all sorts of penalties for future races, but what the fans see is what the record book says! However, in NASCAR, Trulli would have very quickly been told that he had passed under yellow and told to get his ass back behind Lewis long before the cars crossed the line....and certainly long before he jumped around celebrating a 3rd place he wasn't going to get!

OK, I was a little confused as to how Jarno Trulli was penalised for overtaking Lewis Hamilton, when to begin with, he was in front of Hamilton anyway. But here's the explanation: www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_5120919,00.html Strange headline on the PlanetF1 website - not sure what was "problematic" if Hamilton overtook Trulli whilst Trulli wasn't on the racetrack!! But the resultant penalty on Trulli is very, very harsh indeed, being penalised because another car let him past. Surely the original result should be reinstated.

McLaren should have spent their morning reading up on the rules instead of crowding round the Brawn cars trying to work out how to nick their parts now Ferrari's aren't as competitive. But what an excuse for another little "tee hee". But, hey, whatever works for them. They couldn't catch the Toyota, so why not cheat?

Schumi - I think it's just McLaren playing it safe, as we all know how keen the stewards are to penalise them. And Hamilton could have just stayed in third, instead of allowing Trulli back past, so he had third anyway. You're just trying to pick holes in McLaren because the Ferrari drivers were so crap, aren't you?

No, but with the amount of stick I've put up with from you over the years I have to get my own back when I can. Although I tend to like individual drivers rather a team - for instance I even liked those cheating buggers from Italy while Mansell was driving for them.

But just so you know: I'm quite patriotic so my favourite drviers at the moment are Hamilton and Button. And therefore I tend to like to see their teams doing well as well. And I love it when any of the British teams kick Ferrari arse. ;D

Obviously you should be allowed to 'overtake' if a car in front goes off the track or slows/stops because of mechanical problems. And to apply a penalty after a driver lets you through is even more ridiculous. It's going to be a long season if this nonsense continues.

Well it seems the FIA have found yet another pretext by which to strip Hamilton of points.
