Jesus, I'll be sooo glad when we get to this damned first set of averages. I am so hacked off with all the chinese whispers and conspiracy theories. If anyone else says to me 'I've heard...' or 'so-and-so reckons...' I'm going to scream!!!! It's Ales for Jankowski, well according to the BSF

The little plump Pole beat Jarek Hampel last night, seems a great reward for that feat

Unfortunately though Badge, he hasn't really done very much at all in his meetings for us. Too many 0s and 1s to be effective as a second stringer. Strange because he was very impressive during the New Year meeting - perhaps he had his best bikes for that one and has been on lesser stuff since then. There's never realy been an occasion where you thought you could see an improvement, even at home. Guess we'll never know, but he's really been off the pace - even Ricky Wells beat him!

That's a weird signing, but not the Weirdity - mind you, wasn't Dryml's last meeting for Poole a fifteen pointer in the Elite League final?

But DD who scored a big fat 000 is still employed

I fear that may be the least of our worries.

To be honest, you can't really blame the fellow - the Elite League this season has gone from farce to worse. But, you know, Matt Ford is no angel and isn't against mid-season changes from the BSPA per se. He had no problem with the increase in the points limit from 39.90 to 42.00, after all. I can't help but wonder if Ford is perhaps using this latest nonsense from the BSPA as a convenient smokescreen (speedway's buzz word of the momemt) for other issues, such as declining attendances at Wimborne Road.

And the fact that he may truly have broken the bank to emply Hans

I don't think Matt would do that...he's not daft, but I do wonder if he had the play-offs and associated increased attendances in mind to help offset the cost of Hans. Whilst not claiming 'I know something you don't' type info, I was given hints of Hans' deal, and it's not as expensive as some other recent returnees to the EL for example if the figures quoted to me about their remuneration are to be believed (and again I've no reason to disbeleive my sources on that either).
I have to admit, Sube's thoughts on attendances are something that have been churning around in my head the last day or two as well.
