That's a decent move for them, can see him getting more rides than Yokozuna Total ignorance from Midlo to sign Stoney IMO , he has went on reputation rather than current from because there is very little to suggest he will do a job in the EL. If he took any notice of the PL he would have found a far superior option with a lesser name than him, as you can tell I don't believe he will become the 8.00 rider this year that some think Frampton is a nice rider and a decent talent, should do well

Tee hee ....seems like Cecil has dropped a clanger again having announced Chris Neath as Poole's No 8, but with an average of 3.54, it's higher than Legault's average of 3.49. Will that guy never learn, or at least buy a decent calculator

In case anyone's wondering what the hell Badger is on about now , this has been taken from the Bournemouth Echo site;- PIRATES have snapped up Chris Neath as their new number eight after releasing Jordan Frampton to Coventry as a doubling-up rider.
But Poole Castle Cover chief Matt Ford has insisted Frampton, a Somerset asset, still has a big future with the Dorset club.
Ford said he hoped his move to allow Frampton to join Bees after the rider had initially signed as Pirates’ number eight would be reciprocated by rival Elite League clubs in the future.
The Wimborne Road supremo added: “Jordan is a Poole-born lad and his heart is set on riding for Poole in the future.
“But I said to him ‘go away and get all the experience you can get with Coventry.
“If you can get 20 Elite League matches under your belt rather than the five to eight you would probably get with us, it will stand us both in good stead for the future’.
“Jordan has improved rapidly in the past few years and I think Coventry will benefit from that.
“When a rider has signed as a number eight I would like to think any other team would be able to release him if someone else has offered him a doubling-up option in their team, although I doubt some clubs would be so understanding.
“Jordan is a good friend and someone we certainly consider will be part of our future at Poole.”
Ford added: “Amazingly Chris hasn’t been offered a contract and I’m very pleased he will be our number eight.
“He’s just signed as a full asset of Premier League Rye House from Wolves but has a lot of Elite League experience, particularly on small tracks.”

I guess that means Jordan Frampton didn't follow the example of Magnus Zetterstrom and turn Coventry down.

Neath is a poor signing imo. Not the force in the PL he used to be & next to useless when Reading used him as a no.8 in the EL.

Neath is a no-go Wacks...0.05 over the limit. Seems the story shouldn't have been released and he was never actually submitted to the BSPA as our rider. (How true that actually is, I know not)
Sube - Jordan has a very good rapport with Matt and it was always publicly stated that if a club came in who could offer JF more rides in a doubling-up position, then Poole would encourage that and not hold him back from getting more rides. Coventry belatedly made the approach and Matt was true to his word, as I'm told that we could only guarantee young Jordan 4 meetings for certain. Despite the posturing of certain Bees fans with their wooden spoons, Jordan is very much a Poole lad through and through, and this move is purely a one season thing.

Teach me for only reading the post above Let off for Poole though, Neath really has been disapointing the past 2 seasons.

He's looking nigh on upstoppable at the minute. But what's the matter with Holder? I mean, beaten by unSteady, the shame of it.

I'm going to put money on Lindback being the first team change for Poole. Chrissy had better be careful, it was a rather average performance from him yesterday.

He will soon get his machinery sorted out. Class is permanent. Agree, excellent performance from Antonio - looks like he is benefitting from Tony's advice. Would be very surprised to see Antonio riding in the UK this year - he only wanted to ride here for 6 weeks, not a full season!

So "special dispensation" R/R for 28 days for the Pirates due to Jason Doyle's injury at the weekend. Whilst I am truly sorry about Jason's injury, this is getting beyond a joke, surely a rule is a rule

What does make the BSPA look rather stupid is that they didn't bother changing the rulebook to reflect that.

I think Poole will be a much tougher propostion now they have signed Antonio Lindback on a 3.00 average - that's quite a loophole that they managed to find.
