Mimi picked the Eastbourne management / fans for week 5's award after the events of last night.
So onto Week 6. I think it's time for either Bratley's brother (Rigsby) or Zonkers's hubby (Flying Panther) to choose. Which of you gentleman would like to pick next Saturday?

You'll be in trouble for that one!! My brother said that as long as I don't pick then him I can do it. FlyingP seems to be AWOL on here at the moment and I'm going to have to nominate zonkers (until I get an explanation) Go for your life Matey!!

I've chosen: Actually I'm surprised that your signature never got a special mention in Bratters programme piece, now that would have been funny ;D

Surely there can only be one winner this week: Step forward the Belle Vue Management.
First opportunity to use our other double upper (albeit through an injury to Steve Boxall) and what do they do. Use our number 8 who will score zero.
Well done GMP for alienating a large portion of the Aces supporters.....either that or Dimitar Berbatov for that joke of a penalty in the shoot-out yesterday.
Nah.....stick with the Aces promotion.

The absolutely hilarious thing about this is that on the official Belle Vue website, in the "2009 Team" section they don't even have a photograph of Jonasson in the famous "ace of clubs" bib - no photograph of Jonasson at all. And no explanation of his non-appearance - have they been taking lessons in communication from Comrade Louis? Spot the "invisible speedway rider": www.bellevuespeedway.org/

I'm afraid I'm steaming at the moment and have clouded judgement as I've already got a winner. You'll have to nominate someone else because I can't be arsed, apologies, maybe next time!

Okay, while I support the nomination of the Belle Vue management, I'd also like to nominate all those who deem every poor series of performances by Poole as some Machiavellian plot on the part of Matt Ford to manipulate averages. It just makes Matt Ford seem an awful lot clever than he probably is. Why can't it ever just be down to poor team construction? Maybe it's because the "great and the good" thought Poole would be challengers and can't stand to have their judgements trashed? Let's look at things realistically. The Dullard is always hit and miss at the start of the season, while Holder is in his second Elite League season and that come often disappoint. Davidsson is a gating tart par excellence and if habitually hopeless away from home. The loss of Jason Doyle was devastating. Poole are performing badly because at the minute they are a poor side.
