Kev, you really take some stuff on forums personally sometimes, don't you? I don't think Kev's taking it personally Genghis, just maybe making an observation that Shovlit is a twat and is now quite rightlytaking the backlash of what he constantly dishes out - although imo I think they've gone easy on him. Dress it up by saying he's king of the wind up if you want, but more & more frequently I personally find his posts condescending & arrogant. I'm not generally one to judge a book by it's cover so to speak, but I can't say I'd be first in the que to introduce myself to him if the opportunity arouse. Laugh it off all you like, but Shovlar's constant diatribe does damange Poole's business. Because of his forum posts, one of the best run clubs in the league and one of the most succesful have also become one of the most hated and ridiculed and it's the rest of the Poole fans who suffer because of it - well apart from that Lisa who deserves what she gets too. I know that because of the pathetic "get there early, they'll be queing at 6am" bollox that was spouted relating to Pooles Jubilee meeting last season it put me and my other half off attending, I was pig sick of hearing/reading about the meeting by the time it came round - wonder how many others felt the same? Off forum he may well be a nice chap - unfortunately after what must be getting on for 10 years of reading the crap he posts I've got no inclination to find out. glad I got that off my chest ;D Suppose after that I should vote for Shovlar, for the shit he's cause other reasonable Poole fans to suffer. I totally agree with all you have said Wacks, and like you I have no inclination to meet him.Even now he is bragging about how many days before the "biggest" club will be strengthening up, and did you know there were 9/12 of the top p threads on the BSF that were about Poole, and then the fans wonder why the rest of the country are gloating Squirlie I'm sorry but he is and does I'm sure affect Fat Maud's business, I have met BobC who is great, and obviously SuzieQ is a mate, but apart from them and you, SS and LC head a load of twonks.

I would like to nominate the BSPA for blocking the staging of the 4TT between Oxford, Swindon, Reading and Cradley at Blunsdon on Sunday, August 2. The meeting is still going ahead - but it's now on Thursday, July 30. If this doesn't win this week, then I'll ask Wacks to pick next week's winner.

What reason did they give for blocking it? Or is it another of the sport's 'not in the interests of..' cop-outs?

It's not too bad for the Cheetahs or Wacky Racers fans, but a weekend date would have definitely helped in getting a good travelling support down from the Black Country.

I'll add my weight to the Bjarne boo-boys nomination too. I don't even want to start to describe the contempt and anger that I feel towards these low-intelligence low-lifes. Just give me 5 minutes alone in a room with them to kick the one shared brain cell from them - I'd only have to aim at their groin. It seems to be a very small minority of morons; just wish Matt would confront them and take them to the pits to meet Bjarne so they could tell him to his face. Because they're oh so brave doing it sat in the grandstand aren't they? Must say that I was very surprised to hear that as I didn't think that sort of think went on outside Brandon. We get the odd idiot who boos at the EoES but a quick look at him (which would lead to a shut it if he carried on) usually works. It was a small minority, about 5ft 4" and 14st and a chav in a football shirt If it wasn't them then it was close by and a worthy nomination. I'd like to nominate Pat Butcher... not only an inept team manager but for his response on sky last night... "Trevor do you have anything else up your sleeve?" his response "Yes my Arms" - What a flapperjack!! I think that rather than sign up to the alternative thingy, first bender on the bsf ought to sign up here (perhaps he has ) as I'm sure he'd second that nomination "agreed think Pat Butcher has made that very clear in the local and national press over the past few weeks!" he's not a fan either

If this doesn't win this week, then I'll ask Wacks to pick next week's winner. You might as well send the PM now to allow preparation time

He has decent film taste though. ;D ;D ;D I know why you get there so early now? You call into that specialist shop in Oundle Road (we must miss each other) before hitting the EoES ;D

Is there a valid reason they've said it cant be staged on a Sunday? These special meetings I always think should be on weekends unless theres specific planning constraints on the track (i.e. at Birmingham, etc) but even then it may be worth applying for a one-off (though doubtless more hassle than its worth). You'll never get as bigger crowds week nights as at weekends, when travelling fans would be likelier to have time off work to attend.

And the winner is (or the winners are) the Bjarne Pedersen boo-boys. Booing is the chosen choice of a moron and I've no time for those who do, especially aimed at someone who's only just had a testimonial Special mentions to the Belle Vue management and forum, genghis, Flyinpanther/nobbyclark and the Poole average manipulation theorites.

My love affair with my team is dwindling at the moment thanks to what is going on. A fine choice this week Rigsby.
