FP - it looks like Rigsby is abdicating from picking FOTW this week, so you can choose on Saturday if that's OK. Morning Mate... I'll pass from chosing FOTW of the week! Wouldn't want to offend anyone...... sorry - It's been fun! ;D ATB!

Aww has FP retired from the forum? shame if that is the case, for a boro/rye fan he wasn't that bad. Hopefully it's just a sabbatical and we'll see a new member going by the name of Flying Rocket soon.

Wacks - FP appears to have done a runner after Schumi threatened to turn him into a enuch Hopefully, he'll realise it's all a storm in a teacup and return after his rallying - coz I'd miss the fella as well.

I nominate genghis for FOTW for his continual posting without actual knowledge and facts of anything to do with Thomas H. Jonasson.

Is that so Mr know nothing at all.
So he didn't crash on Tuesday, he didn't have to be taken to the hospital, he doesn't have concussion?
You are still a twat smiley or no smiley.
Go find something else to grind your teeth on. Preferably something that will choke you.

This one's for you, youngy. I would like to nominate the Belle Vue forum.
It stems from this post:
Being the person who put this "poor translation" on the forum in the first place, let's have a little truth on the matter, shall we?
Firstly this is the newspaper article that started it all off:
Billy Forsberg can not afford to start the season and why he missed the first matches in England. That was the idea to Västervik Speedway Billy Forsberg would start the season with matches in England and Poland in the coming weeks.
But then it is not.
- I have not received my sign-on bonus from Poland and I can not afford to get going until I get paid, "says Billy Forsberg.
- The money would have been paid in January, but I have not yet received any money. Gdansk not responding when I try to make contact with them, said Billy on Wednesday.
I had a PM from RobB telling me the following:
Yes Billy is having some trouble getting his money from Gdansk, thats why Belle Vue had delayed announcing his injury for a month because Billy was worried if Gdansk found out he definatly wouldn't get his money. But that is not stopping him from riding here, just the injury.
So I replied:
Just seems a little strange that he'd then give a newspaper interview, don't you think? I mean, it's a direct quote saying his reasons were financial. Did he say that or not? If he did then it's pretty clear, but if he didn't someone should speak to the paper and ask why this has appeared.
I'm not trying to cause trouble. I read the Swedish papers daily and often post articles from them on our forum, but I didn't expect it to end up here and on the BSF, and I certainly didn't mean to stir things up for Billy. I think he's a great rider, and hope he gets things sorted out.
Note my reference to someone putting the record straight. And, would you believe it, five days later this appears in their local paper:
Meanwhile Billy Forsberg defied a troubled run-up to the new season by making a flying visit from Sweden to join Belle Vue's team bonding day.
His preparations have been wrecked by a broken wrist - suffered in a training crash.
But the 20-year-old expects to put everything behind him in the next two or three weeks and get his career back on track.
The One51 Aces' management called their new-look team together on Saturday for a meeting to discuss the new season which finished with a tenpin bowling session and a dinner.
Forsberg flew in for the day but had to return home immediately for a medical appointment at which he hoped to have three pins removed from his left wrist.
Serious
He said: "I will have a better idea of when I can start riding again after I've had the pins taken out. Then I'll be able to see how my wrist feels.
"Maybe I'll be OK to get back on a bike in one and a half weeks and be racing again in two weeks. I'll have to wait and see."
Forsberg was hurt after crashing on a training run on his moto-cross bike and felt at first that it was nothing serious.
He added: "It's only one break but it left my hand at the wrong angle and that's why I had the operation to have it pinned. If I hadn't I risked a permanent problem."
Billy is also hoping a financial problem will be solved this week.
He has five bikes ready to race at his Norrkopping home but has been unable to take delivery of his van because of a delay over a payment from his Polish club, Gdansk.
However, Forsberg has been told he can expect the money to arrive in his account this week.
He said: "Hopefully, everything will be sorted out in two or three weeks and I'll be racing again."
To which everyone cried "see, we told you it wasn't financial reasons keeping him out of the team." Okay, always willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but the cynic in me always thought that last article was hastily cobbled together because someone had had a word in Billy's ear. I don't doubt his injury, but I'm certainly not going to be tarred with the "idiot" brush for something I posted that was also relevant. And it certainly wasn't "rubbish" - as has been shown.
