Left like what Genghis ? foreigners who put Britain first or foreigners who are'nt sought after by bigger clubs from better run leagues ? Hatcham - at the height of his career, Johno was a good second/third heat leader in the Elite League, and this came at a point when the Elite League was still on a par with its Swedish and Polish equivalents. So yes he was a foreign rider who put Britain first. Like most Aussies, in fact, who have all done a great service to our leagues over the years. Such as the legend that is Leigh Adams.

I will never question his loyalty, that is proven, what I will question is people's blinkered view of Johnno, but as it is my opinion that is fine, but let's just say he is not always the good old boy, often he is the "TV Diva", and that doen't often come across to the fans, as he puts his face on then .

ARRRRGGGHHH, THIS IS A BEES 2009 THREAD. This the Weird World Booey, the thread may have started off as a Coventry thread, but it will end up where it ends up. Your clubs treatment of the British number one began the catalogue of shaftings resulting in his exile from these shores, so maybe the less bees talk the better. Hopefully we'll be seeing very little of the shafter in cheif at The Hive this year now that the true boss has come back to the helm, it's well known around Brandon that Colin wasn't in agreement with it & cos of it the shafter wanted him out. Well now we have a gent back in charge the shafter has been shafted himself, approval is granted.

It all seems to have gone rather quiet down Exeter way, so can we expect another disappointment following his aborted 'attempts' at Oxford and Mildenhall......and what was the arrangement at Coventry which allowed him to slip out almost unnoticed?

Can I remind you that Ryan Sullivan is also an Aussie, Genghis? And that a couple of seasons ago when the British Champion was leading his bunch of Judas'es(if you'll allow me the word) to the Elite league title, Jason Crump took it upon his own shoulders to decide when the Pirates title interests should come to an end.

Hatcham - Jason Crump provided fine service to British Speedway for 17 years. And yes, unlike Nicholls, he could be arsed to turn up at the 2008 ELRC, in fact he won it.

Yes, he turned up because he knew the title was his to lose, just like at Coventry when he threw in the towel, in the most disgraceful exhibition of arrogance i have ever witnessed on a speedway track. I for one am glad he has fucked off, hopefully he will never be offered a route back.

But didn't ride in the corresponding meeting the previous season.

Or was he, as he managed to ride in the Polish GP just one week later? Edited to add that he recorded a paid maximum the previous night at Swindon and also rode at Peterborough during the week after the ELRC.
