Personally I hope Rosco gets it. No-one can think we seriously have a chance of winning, so anyone who can inject a bit of humour and entertainment gets my vote. Using that criteria they may as well give the job to Peter Kay!! |

Either that or make a rule stating that the team must contain atleast one rider from all GB nations

As hopeless as Great Britain are at the minute, they'd be far worse with William Lawson (or James Grieves) and Phil Morris in the team. I'm not averse to a Scotland team entering the competition - they ought to be a match for the likes of Hungary (leaving Matej Ferjan aside), Slovenia (leaving Matej Zagar aside) and Italy (leaving no one aside). |

Subedei when calling for a Scotland team i aint expecting world beaters i just want to see a team that actually means something to me.
The "great britain" team had a hard time remebering who they were riding for in the last world cup and on several occasions referred to themselves as England. Its things like that, that really annoy me.
Also the whole hassle of the GB olympic football team would be the exact same. English manager with 11 English players.
Lets just break the team up you already have your England team racing we can easily put together a 7 man Scottish team that way both nations are represented.

Just test matches, although traditionalists would point out that a proper test match should be 8 riders (6 in the team and 2 reserves) over 18 heats. And there's nothing to stop Scotland having test matches, it just takes someone to oraganise them and promote them. |

Kev - to be fair, Peter Kay has never caused me to laugh as much as Rosco's ridiculous carry on during the second leg of the 2007 play-off final. ;D ;D Thing is, while I find the fact that Swindon's team manager is a complete dope highly amusing, it's not funny when it's the GB involved.  Still think it should go to Floppy. |

I thought that said you'd never laughed as much as the time when Rosco's leg fell off.  |
