From Swindon's website:
New averages:
Leigh Adams 10.67 [72 points, 27 rides] Troy Batchelor 7.11 [48 points, 27 rides] James Wright 5.08 [33 points, 26 rides] Travis McGowan 4.62 [30 points, 26 rides] Seb Alden 3.84 [24 points, 25 rides]
The above figures will become effective from Monday 28 April 2008.
Mads Korneliussen (5.18) and Theo Pijper (3.70) remain on their 2007 figures.
Prior to the issue of these figures, Korneliussen had only ridden 2 home and 3 away meetings for Swindon this season, whereas Pijper has yet to appear in a league fixture.
However, Korneliussen rode in the Robins’ home meeting against Wolverhampton on Thursday 24 April, so he has now completed his third home match.
Therefore, his new 3 home and 3 away interim average will become effective from Thursday 1 May.

I make it 8.57, but that's my calculations. 60 points from 28 rides (tactical rides halved and without bonus) = 8.57

Is that not his actual average (with bonus points and tactical rides) for all meetings? I worked out his interim GSA after 3 home and 3 away which doesn't count either of those and only includes EL meetings.

Agree totally............Theo has just not come up with the goods this season for whatever reason, and Hauzinger can be a class act on his day...........smart move by Swindon, someone must have tipped Rosco off.

It's not necessarily a "bad move", it's just not that much of a "good move" - neither are really up to the Elite League. I'd say that it's "like for like".

Swindon Speedway have continued their policy of recruiting young Australian riders by adding Ryan and Justin Sedgman to their asset base.
The brothers hail from the small fruit town of Mildura and cut their speedway teeth on the town’s iconic Olympic Park arena, the track that has consistently produced a succession of World class riders including Swindon captain Leigh Adams and two times World Champion Jason Crump.
At eighteen years of age Ryan is the older of the Sedgman siblings and will spend the summer riding for the 2008 Swindon junior the side, the Sprockets.
Meanwhile Justin, who will also riding for the Sprockets, is scheduled to spend a shorter period in England, about a month, to familiarise himslef with British tracks.
Ryan Sedgman, has achieved plenty in his homeland including victory in the U16 national Championship. He further demonstrated his potential in the 2008 Australian U21 Championship where he finished in sixth place courtesy of an impressive double points haul.
Like his brother, Sixteen year old Justin Sedgman is also tipped for success in future years and is in Europe primarily for the FIM 80cc Under 16 Youth Cup Championship staged in Denmark on the 9th July.
Swindon co-owner Gary Patchett is excited by the arrival of the Sedgeman brothers.
"We have been waiting to relaunch the Academy side until we knew the Sedgman boys were available, Ryan is coming over for the summer while his younger brother Justin is here on a short working holiday with his parents, before he has to go back to his apprenticeship.
It’s great to have them both on board and in our academy side, we’re looking forward to seeing how they ride at Blunsdon’
