Whilst we could claim that Schumi is Crumpie's sister. I don't think I have the right hair colouring. Well having babysat for the said Mr Crump and his kid sisters when they were little (yes, honestly! - ask Lady Robin!) I can say that one of them (Justine) was dark haired and the other (Gabrielle) was blonde so you 'might' fit into one of those categories I'd have thought Schumi?!

I believe if you want to pass on the inside it has to be clean,. Or the rider on the outside doesn't turn in to you as you are passing on the inside which is what Bergstrom did to Ashworth.

Rubbish, Bergstrom showed some balls and stuck to his intended line, the weaker option would have been to drift out and let Ashworth through. It would be no different for me to step into your 'path' on the high street, knock you over and then claim "i was there first".

I'll hopefully catch the Hamburg Bremen game on Thursday night - the game last week was fantastic. I saw Hamburg at the Emirates pre-season and they had something about them so have watched them with interest this season. I hope their stylish play is rewarded with the UEFA Cup, but I'm guessing you won't agree with that. Thanks for the good wishes. Rico Agreed. I'd advise any footy fan to watch the conclusion to Bundesliga. 5 teams can still win it!

It was indeed. The two incidents on Monday and Tuesday were quite different. On Monday, Adam Skornicki drifted into Frampton's patch and accidentally took his front wheel, but the bloke from Corry kept it tight, whilst Bergstrom was the one out of control. So Steele got it right on Monday but wrong on Tuesday.

I wonder if Tomasz Piszcz is going to follow the example of the shameful Jordan Frampton and miss a meeting for his Premier League club one day before he rides for his Elite League club? Time this sort of nonsense was clamped down on and clamped down on hard.

I would like to nominate Eric Boo cock for the way he spoke to Charlie Webster when interviewed tonight. The BSPA are currently trying to negotiate an improved deal with Sky for their television coverage, and as a member of that organisation and an official at the meeting, I believe his arrogant and petulant outburst at Charlie was totally out of order. He should be fined for his actions this evening and given the Flapperjack of the Week too, and then hopefully he be a little more approachable at any further televised meetings he's involved in, assuming that Sky now consider his opinion to be worthwhile listening to...... which personally I don't! I would like to nominate Eric also, although I was on the phone at the time and missed the incident. Kev told me all about it. Not very professional by Mr Boocock

My nomination this week goes to Charlie Gjedde. Belle Vue's Captain and No.2 in our averages. We have 2 away meetings this weeks and in both of them combined Charlie scores a grand total of 6 points.
Morten Risager scored half of that in one ride at Poole.
Proper Flapperjack.

Perhaps he's dropping his average Youngy. Oh sorry, it's only Poole riders that do that isn't it. Can I nominate hypocritical speedway fans who think it's OK to drop averages or cheat subtly along the way but not when in their eyes, it's blatant. Or that it's OK to drop averages/have a rider miss a meeting at the end of the season to stop them coming in on a true higher average at the start of the next but somehow it's different to do it mid-season. Any manipulation of the rules is just that - you can't have it because it's done surreptitiously. If people can't see there is no difference, that it's all 'cheating' they're total flapperjacks. And if anyone wants to nominate Poole off the back of my post, feel free, you won't find any objection from me. I've had it with this EL season tbh; irrespective of whether has or hasn't gone on, this debacle has ruined my enjoyment of this season.

Feck knows why though, Belle Vue aren't exactly full of options to replace him...although the latest rumour doing the rounds (on the BV forum anyway) is that Poole are going to drop Bjarne, bring in Hans Andersen and Bjarne will come to Belle Vue. If that happens I'll bare my backside in M&S Window........would have said Woolies but they are, sadly, no more.
