Schumi, the big positive about speedway is its family image. Fans from both sides can intermingle without any trouble. I'm almost speechless. Okay, so I know it's a minority, but there have been so many more reports over the last few years of a few supporters behaving like animals. Throwing glasses, swearing at children, threatening behaviour to both riders and fans. As I said, I know it's a minority, but you're still pushing it to make that sweeping statement. And that was just the Mancunian Mexicans. Although the swearing at children was aimed at Rory Schlein. They also had a go at Avtar Sandhu at BV's last meeting of the 2006 season. Sandhu must have had a bad feeling about something as he had 2 massive geezers following him round all night. Thank the Lord they are no more....although on occasions a few of them see fit to stick a sombrero on. Great fun when they first got started back in 04/05 (the BV team at the 1st leg of the EL Play Off Final is a classic....all of them in sombreros) but it soon started getting out of hand....mostly when Coventry were in town.
