Sounds like the Swedes want to race, the Aussies don't, the Russians don't care (not surprising, they're insane) and the Poles have lost interest.

Didn't they have to borrow one from the city council or something when it rained at Prague one season? It's unbelievable. As I said, Oxford Speedway has a blade - paid for and owned by the fans. So how the hell can an organisation as big as the FIM not have a blade? There is the odd cock-up at domestic meetings in Britain, but as they're run on a budget of a sixpence, that's to be expected. But how the hell can a World Cup meeting with a huge crowd and a huge TV audience not have the right equipment? It's a joke - the FIM/ BSI, whatever it's called these days, is a fucking joke. Shame the Danes aren't in the final, Hans would have proved how raceable it was by now.

It was just said that the Poles are ahead of the Russians on heat wins, which implies the joker being played is irrelevant, does that mean if Sweden win heat 20 with Batchelor 3rd and it rains again, Sweden would be the winners even though they've used a joker to amass the same points as the Aussies ?

Gollob versus Adams. On today's showing, I know who my money would be on. And it isn't the Pole.

And I'd have lost my money as Tomasz Gollob rams my lack of faith right down my throat.

No sympathy for the Aussies and especially not Boyce. What kind of idiot doesn't use his strongest side in the World Cup

And they'd have said it loud and long if the Poles hadn't won. But what about a word for the Russians, who really did well today. And good to have four competitive sides in an SWC final. It's been a while since we had that.

Lol. Fair point Sub. Surely this must be a sweeter win for the Poles than previous ones, though, having done it without any fake Poles in there.
It was nice to see the Russians and Swedes were in contention as well. Not so sure we would have added as much to the final!

What a farce! The Aussies score one more point than the Poles out on the track, but thanks to the Golden Double Joker Bollocks rule, the Poles win

Shields & the Poo Boy are both injured - that was the best 5 fit Aussies out there today. (Unless you're referring to Sullivan. Who ruled himself out of the two Leszno meeting and was shite at Peterborough anyway ) Hard luck to Australia, today's moral victors as the scorers of the most points out on track (discarding Poland's two Joker gift points).

Here you say: What a farce! The Aussies score one more point than the Poles out on the track, but thanks to the Golden Double Joker Bollocks rule, the Poles win On the Flapperjack thread you say: Oooogen, I reckon the Poles would have still won by a single point: Heat 23: Poles 2 to Australia 1 Heat 24: Poles 3 to Australia 0 Heat 25: Poles 3 to Australia 2 In any case, how can a rider be nominated as FOTW for a great overtaking move??? Make your fucking mind up, genghis.

Make your fucking mind up, genghis. I have made my mind up. I hate the fucking Joker, BUT to say Crump cost the Aussies the win is incorrect. What it actually did was to ensure the Aussies scored the most actual points on the track and still lose. I thought you were quite clever and would understand my point, but maybe not.
