WJM you sure you want to go to Bydgoszcz? i can tell you the winner already lol It's usually the best racing of the GP season and much of that is down to being able to watch the great Tomasz Gollob showing his total mastery of the Bydgoszcz track. Think AJ will take his crown this year and of course King Emil But I will be there to see Hans take the win

As i said above Sub the Edinburgh facilities aint appropriate for the EL so we shouldnt hold that level of event but the PL events could easily be held at Edinburgh. Edinburgh has good road access has better facilities than quite a few PL tracks and has a great track. Armadale is a shit hole

i would rather be at armadale than the atmospehere lacking dump that is Shielfield. Anyway being a "shithole" didint stop it being a fortress in 08 did it now? i dont remember us losing a meeting there other than to an EL club.

They don't make money as a rule of thumb, so they stay at the same tracks where they've been well supported and attended.
Couldn't care really.....

I don't care if they won meetings if you are talking about facilities it is comparable to Berrington Lough which the Edinburgh fans used to constantly remind Berwick fans was a shit hole Shielfiled is a far superior venue to Armdale it is laughable if you think it isnt Do you really think Armadale would be an accepted venue in the Scottish Second division ?.

You cant compare a speedway stadium to a football stadium. I may aswell as you if the Crucible would be any good for hosting Curling.
Its funny how many people on here change there tune. first off everyone hates follow the leader speedway but everyone wants to go to Bydgoszcz where we already know the winner.
People say that speedway comes first and the facilities second but now WJM is trying to drag down a teams facilities as "shit" atleast we can claim great racing at armadale. And please tell me what is so "shit" about it. What does Berwick have that Edinburgh doesnt? its certainly not an atmosphere thats for sure.

I think they're both pretty much shitholes. In fact, I'd say that Berrington Lough was the equal, if not better, than both.

Gollob's won 1 out of the last 3. Then, Gollob's exploits are not the only entertainment. The atmosphere is simply terrific and has to be seen to be believed. The enjoyment's in the four laps, not the winner. It's hardly follow the leader with Gollob.

If you are going to mention facilities , then you need to mention stadia
If one club races in a football stadium and the other races at a run down dog track then you are going to compare them,I didn't compare Shielfield to Armdale you did
Its funny how every one ? do I now represent every one ?.
What is so shit about it ? Why the first bend is covered in " shit " for a start , the suites and hospitality are well .... a porta cabin.... the back straight stand is a decrepit old mess
What does Shielfiled have that Armdale doesnt ? plastic seats , a 2,500 seater stand , great viewing facilities all around the track , probably the best vantage point in British Speedway on the third bend, its about 4 times the size of Armdale so of course it will be harder to generate an atmosphere
It isnt the best but as a stadium it is far superior to Armadale

Plastic seats? you have got to be kidding me. Is this what it has come to that we bicker over a few plastic seats? seating kills atmosphere everyone sat with there prawn sandwiches. Its one bad point about Cardiff.
WJM your facilities wouldnt be what they are, plastic seats included if you wasnt sharing with a pro football team.
The back straight isnt as bad as you make out, viewing can be a pain if you have a line of taller than avg people infront of you but apart from that you can see what happens.
As for the best vantage point in british speedway, i think you need to take off the black and yellow shades. I have said before Edinburgh needs money invested but we aint going to do that when we dont own the stadium.

Gollob's won 1 out of the last 3. Two out of the last three GPs held at Bydgoszcz, I think you'll find. He won in 2007, Hancock won the first in 2008 and Gollob the second.

The 3rd bend? the third bend is where the riders changing rooms are and the banking where riders and pit crew park cars and vans.
