There was a time when the National League Fours was a fixture at the EoES and in 1983 the Newcastle Diamonds were the victors thanks to some inspired riding from Martin Scarisbrick: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjG_LavdVpIWow - great stuff. Can't believe how close to the track they allowed the crowds to stand back then.....

No action in this one, but please allow me to recall a few fond memories......oh what I'd give to see this again.....the introductions to a meeting at Kingsmead Stadium, Canterbury. www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8r8Kr_8FVo&feature=relatedAnd included, just for Wacks, is the one and only muppet.

No, I'm with PC on this one, both wheels didn't cross the line, although I do recall Mitch Shirra (never the calmest of characters) getting very worked up about it.

But for that crash and one at Poole in the GP Qualifiying Final a few weeks later, Lukas Dryml would have been World Champion by now. These two crashes knocked the stuffing out of him - up until that point he could little wrong (U21 Champ in 2002, 4 rostrum placings in GPs in 2002 & 2003, joint leader of GP series early in 2003, etc).

Don't log in very often these days (nor to the ''other side'' but would just like to say these cllips have given me a much wanted fix in the close season and thanks to those who have taken the trouble to post them -- I am not very pc savvy so it is great for me to post on a link and hey presto I am glued to youtube from dawn until sunset (I must get out more) BTW miss you both on the ''other side'' ;D
