I'd 'best' some of them might try to score fewer points to avoid it. Hatcham - given the strength of the EL in 2009, they'd have to drop a hell of a lot of points if they were a top rider. And points = ££££££, so I can't see many riders going down that route. Did Booey say something? Genghis you really have to become more adept at avoiding the hook, i'm 'reeling you in', and putting you in the keep net for a few hours on a daily basis, you must start being harder to catch.

He could follow in the footsteps, or tyre tracks, of the great Americans. But with Billy Janniro at Brandon as a role model, it's just as likely that he'll become a heavy-drinking, burger-binging clown.

Taken from the BSF:
COVENTRY Buildbase Bees can confirm that Edward Kennett is joining the club - and the Great Britain international will sign his contract in front of the fans on Friday.
22-year-old Kennett is moving to Coventry on a full transfer from Eastbourne, with the fee to be set by an SCB arbitration hearing on April 7.
He will be one of several riders in attendance at Friday's quiz night (8pm start), and will make his debut in the season-opening challenge match at Wolverhampton on March 16.
Kennett's previous Elite League experience has been with South coast clubs Eastbourne and Poole, and last season he posted a 7.29 average - reduced to 7.11 due to his nationality.
He also finished second in the British Final to earn a Wild Card for the British Grand Prix, and has represented Great Britain in the World Cup for the last two seasons.
Bees manager Peter Oakes said: "There's no doubt that Edward has the potential to develop into a World-class performer, and this move gives him the chance to take the next step.
"There's certainly room for his average to go up, and like so many of our riders he's well-presented and takes pride in his equipment, which is what you want to see."
Kennett's arrival means that the Buildbase Bees now have a full one-to-seven signed, although there are still two more places to be filled in the squad.
A second doubling-up rider to share the position with Adam Roynon is to be declared, as is the 'cover' No.8 squad rider.
BUILDBASE BEES 2009 (Average in brackets) Chris Harris 7.71 Rory Schlein 7.24 Edward Kennett 7.11 Olly Allen 6.57 Ben Barker 4.02 Ricky Wells 4.00 Adam Roynon 3.11 Total 39.76
Hoo-bloody-ray, at last, now let the season commence.

It is good to see that everything is finally official, though why if Eddie was already signed we had to wait until an arbitration date was finalised to declare him is beyond me. Protocol i presume. As last year this is a balanced team of riders that can all improve, hopefully this time they'll ALL prove they can.

There's about six pages on me in that chapter. I didn't think Jeff was doing another book, so I was merrily chatting away to him about all and sundry, oblivious to the fact he was writing everything down. It's quite embarrasing and flaterring at the same time to be written about - I'm used to wirting about other people, not the other way around. ;D

And you should be arrested for your awful spelling. Try "embarrassing" and "flattering".
