Firstly because we would now be facing the prospect of another televised borefest watching the Witches and Robins attempting to pull back a 50 point deficit (or what ever it was) and secondly because its ludicrous enough that the team that tops the league may not win it, but the though that the top two may not even be in the final is too stupid for words, now obviously with the current rules the 3rd and 4th teams could be the two finalists, but with one match thats unlikely and even if it did occur it would have the tiniest crumb of credibility. This suggestion would put the semis over 2 legs but still stack it in favour of the top 2. The play-off aren't going anywhere so how do we stop the bilge served up last night? ok another idea: Semi teams decided as now but meetings run over two legs. Teams that finishes first or second in the league start at +12 and +8 on aggregate (to be added at the end of the 2nd legs) with their home leg 2nd if they want. League's highest place finisher in the final gets choice of home leg as now in which both teams start at scratch. Or even carry over the handicap to the final

Sorry this is a personal nomination but I have to get it out of my system, and it does have a speedway connection. I have just moved into a house with 3 friends. One of these friends has three friends who the rest of us don't get on with. We have just found out that while we were out Monday night, she had these friends round. They then went into all of our rooms, went through our draws and even my purse. And now I have discovered that they stopped my recording of the play-offs Monday night, which I was looking forward to watching for Floppy's commentating. Now we have banned them from the house but the more I think about what they have done the angrier I get The 3 of them are the biggest flapperjacks i have ever meet. Sounds to me like your friend who invited them round should also be out on her arse..........she must have known what was going on!!! If it were down to me she would be gone but the other 2 have given her a second chance because she says she tried to stop them.

That's awful, but try to look on the bright side. Anyone stopping the recording of the Semi's has done you a big favour.

Or even carry over the handicap to the final With a league of only 9, a play off that involves 4 teams will always be a disaster, but to be fair the finals have always been interesting, and i expect this years to be just as exciting.

Your right about the actual racing of course, i suppose what i meant was that i hoped for the excitement of west ham getting about 12 up in the first leg and Poole trying to pull it back in the second. If Davidsson returns though i reckon his lack of match race fitness will kill the tie off on Monday.

Hodgy got banned from the Official Forum for saying at the start of the season that Poole were better than that plop we put out. I think any Panthers fans who choose a Poole avatar when our season is still running should be banned from the EoES orion's just on a wind up, you've got to laugh ;D

I would like to nominate any BSF or Other Speedway chat room posters who no longer watch live speedway in the British Isles- There are bloody loads of em... "clack, clack, clack, Moan, Moan, Moan" but don't support British Speedway either in body or financially through the turnstyles... I won't name names but they can Fuck off! the lot of them.. Make me puke!
