Ah....Now that you mention it, I do remember reading about the Newport deal, but I thought that had fallen through. Sounds like CVS is going to fiddle it so that Chris keeps his current average and gets to sign for them! Yes, it does look that way, although after the Monberg fiasco he might find it a tough task to get away with it - maybe a bit of give-and-take with a few promotions, such as offering to get Lindback a reduced average for Poole when their season turns sour. |

With Kenni Larsen and Steve Boxall heading to Tyneside, it doesn't look like there's room for Chris Kerr in the Premier League, unless he gets "special dispensation" regarding his average.
