Quite interesting bit on the Aces website:
He (Gjedde) replaces Simon Stead, who wants a change of scene to widen his experience but he will only be allowed to move on loan for one season. Belle Vue supremo David Gordon said: "We appreciate Simon's reasons for wanting a move and what he hopes to achieve by it. We have had a lot of discussions with him and he is going by mutual agreement. "No-one has asked us for permission to approach him and we are only prepared to let him go out on loan."

But who'd want Stead - vastly, massively over-rated rider? And who can fit him in?

Good riddance to that sulky loner Gjedde. One of the worst team men Swindon have ever had.

Billy Forsberg back with the Aces. Great news for them.

Billy Forsberg back with the Aces. Great news for them. Definitely is and he is riding his own bikes next season. The 11 meetings he rode for us were on club bikes, bought from Danny Bird, which were maintained by Jason Lyons. Crump, Screen, Gjedde and Forsberg signed with the other 3 in place but yet to be announced. Should be an ok season for us.

80th Anniversary meeting planned for 29th July. I trust Peter Collins will be tempted to get his leg over for this? I don't know what the plan is for this one but they should be inviting as many ex Aces, Jan Jaros and Tobias Johansson need not bother, as they can. Rumour is it's going to be run on the GP format though.

Good riddance to that sulky loner Gjedde. One of the worst team men Swindon have ever had. Guarantee he'll come back to haunt you at Blunsdon though. He will easily outscore Batchelor and Wright when the Aces visit.

www.bellevuespeedway.co.uk/main/FS_main.htmBoxall signs for Belle Vue, and if rumours are to be believed, Michal Rajkowski is on his way too. Wouldn't normally post a rumour, but I believe this could be the mystery MSJ rider?

Boxall and Billy Forsberg amount to the only sensible signings Belle Vue have made so far - they seem to have completely lost the plot in Manchester.

So the 2008 World Champion , Jason Crump , doesn't amount to a sensible signing

So the 2008 World Champion , Jason Crump , doesn't amount to a sensible signing Sadly, in a 38.85 league, he doesn't amount to a sensible signing, while Screen amounts to a ludicrous signing.

No matter the points limit . A rider who can score maximums home and away , week in week out , is a useful tool . I agree that Screen is past it , but the likes of Forsberg and Boxall could come on a ton under the 2008 world champion's tutorage .

It seems that the Polish duo of Lukasz Jankowski and Michal Rajkowski are completing the Belle Vue line-up. This means Belle Vue look like this:
1..Jason Crump 2..Billy Forsberg 3..Charlie Gjedde 4..Lukasz Jankowski 5..Joe Screen 6..Michal Rajkowski 7..Steve Boxall
That's just an awful, awful team. What the hell are they thinking of in Manchester? Last year they piled pressure onto the hapless Simon Stead, this year it's going to be piled onto Billy Forsberg. Insanity, if you ask me.

I do tend to agree it doesn't look good. Ateam that at best will get 30-35 from the top 3 & jack shit elsewhere .
