Right, with Star Lady having picked her winner, it's time to move on. And I would to nominate Freddie Lindgren for being a complete and utter headcase. After his lunge down the back straight and subsequent crash, he was lucky that either himself or Lukas Dryml weren't seriously injured. The bloke is a nutter. And also a mention to tonight's referee, who put the riders on two minutes for the re-run, with Lukas being excluded, despite the fact the air fence was still being fixed and the starting gate wasn't working.

Genghis, do you live in your own little micro-climate? I know you have a fondness for Dryml, but it's bordering on perverse when you complain about racers racing, for goodness sake. Had it been the other way around you'd have said "well done that man" for putting his bike in the gap and overtaking his opponent. I notice you're not nominating Gollob, who pulled a similar move on Pedersen that he made stick.

Agreed Schumi. Thought the referee cocked up a couple of times tonight. Lindgren did nothing wrong and did not deserve to be excluded. I don't think Dryml did anything wrong either and it should have been all 4 back. If the referee HAD to exclude someone it should have been Dryml. As for his decision to let Bjarne P back in after he took Tomek's front wheel away, now that was wrong. Bjarne was out of control and should have been emptied out the re-run. Rico

Instead he hit Lukas on the way past (something the Sky analysis team missed, even though it was obvious from one of the angles ), which then caused Lukas to rear and the two riders to crash rather spectaculary. The difference between Gollob & Lindgren is one has great skill and can get through gaps, the other cannot and therefore causes carnage. Lindgren is a fucking nutcase.

Another Referee nomination tonight, Peter Clarke. Heat 2 1st rerun at Stoke, after Kozza smith has already been excluded, Mitchell Davey makes his only gate of the night. He pushes Klaus Jacobsen wide on the first turn, which would be Ok apart from the fact Jesper Kristiansen is outside of his teammate. Jesper tries everything to stay on the bike, but the airfence grabs him and he falls. Everyone is expecting all 3 back, but Mr Clarke is out to stamp his authority and he excludes Kristiansen. Heat 7 Anders Andersen makes a superb gate, but again Mr clarke sees his own race and brings them all back. He didn't have that many decisions to make, but he completely cocked those 2 up. He almost knocks Craig Ackroyd off my most hated referee list.

Why did I know you would start on Genghis, Kev H. Agreed Lukas was the cause of the crash last night but you are bringing in the incident at Oxford into the argument which was just a racing incident. I am nominating a colleague at work for flapperjack, a MALE Threw his teddies out when he found out I was on leave for the next two nights and told me I was the bosses favourite and I had him in my back pocket. I thought my bum looked big in these troosers ;D

Kev - apart from one isolated incident in 2005, please provide proof that Lukas Dryml is a "menace" As for last night, I suggest you watch the replay carefully. Lindgren made a very definite contact with Lukas, which then caused Lukas to lift and wipe them both out (how on earth the likes of Ermolenko and Louis missed this is beyond me ). It was Lindgren's fault.

There was room for Lindgren to pass - he made a great move round the outside, and it was Dryml's fault for coming across. Maybe no-one should have been excluded, but if anyone was going to be it certainly shouldn't have been Lindgren. He did nothing wrong.

I'd like to second Ghengis for being so biased that he can't see what EVERYONE else can. The only person to agree with him is the ref....are they one and the same person?

Just shows the standard of Polish refereeing isn't as bad as I thought? Anyway there seems to be divergence of opinion on BSF. Most do blame Lukas (especially those with Wolves avatars for some reason ) but there are those calling it 50/50, plus a few agreeing with the referee's decision. So your "EVERYONE else" statement is rather pompous and untrue.

I would like to nominate the heavy cold I've got at the moment. Usually, I'm one to carry on when I'm ill (I don't do man flu - for a start, I'm single, so don't have anyone to nurse me) , but this is a nasty one. I'm barking like a dog, my nose is constantly streaming and my head feels like someone has been hitting it repeatedly with a brick (I suspect Kev H or Lupus of the latter ) I've spent most of the day lying down, and even the miracle of Day Nurse (which normally leaves me feeeling better in the matter of hours) isn't working.

Huh - typical man-flu. I've been feeling like that for days but I'm not using it as an excuse for not seeing the bleeding obvious!
