Another Referee nomination tonight, Peter Clarke. Heat 2 1st rerun at Stoke, after Kozza smith has already been excluded, Mitchell Davey makes his only gate of the night. He pushes Klaus Jacobsen wide on the first turn, which would be Ok apart from the fact Jesper Kristiansen is outside of his teammate. Jesper tries everything to stay on the bike, but the airfence grabs him and he falls. Everyone is expecting all 3 back, but Mr Clarke is out to stamp his authority and he excludes Kristiansen. Heat 7 Anders Andersen makes a superb gate, but again Mr clarke sees his own race and brings them all back. He didn't have that many decisions to make, but he completely cocked those 2 up. He almost knocks Craig Ackroyd off my most hated referee list. Just watched the GP on SKY+ and have to remove my nomination for Peter Clarke. The desision to exclude Lindgren was so wrong that even Ackroyd could be a better GP referee. I can't see what else Lindgren could have done Dryml on the other hand could have avoided the crash.

Huh - typical man-flu. I've been feeling like that for days but I'm not using it as an excuse for not seeing the bleeding obvious! Lupus - but if affected your judgement last night.

See now I know you're singling me out for your comments because I'm a Wolves fan but have a look around you....you are very much in the minority. And whilst I will readily admit to being biased, you refuse to do so and just stick to your 'I know better' attitude! Will you stand up and have the balls to admit YOUR bias?!

Of course I'm biased towards Lukas. But, in this case, it matters not a jot, because Lindgren was at fault. Oh, and being in the majority or minority doesn't matter at all - the majority quite often can be wrong.

Well I - and many others - think you are WRONG. No the majority aren't always right - but in this case they are!

Tere are many great meetings at Stoke in a season, the locals are not always impressed with the scores though. ;D

I have no bias one way or another, but on this occasion, racing incident that it was, there is no way that Lindgren was at fault. And stop whinging about having a little bloody sniffle

Had it been the other way around you'd have said "well done that man" for putting his bike in the gap and overtaking his opponent. I notice you're not nominating Gollob, who pulled a similar move on Pedersen that he made stick. Schumi, but the whole point is Lindgren didn't make it stick. Instead he hit Lukas on the way past (something the Sky analysis team missed, even though it was obvious from one of the angles ), which then caused Lukas to rear and the two riders to crash rather spectaculary. The difference between Gollob & Lindgren is one has great skill and can get through gaps, the other cannot and therefore causes carnage. Lindgren is a fucking nutcase. What's that then . Have a long hard look at this, and tell us all at which point Lidgren did something wrong : uk.youtube.com/watch?v=A7xDWftv-2U

Well I - and many others - think you are WRONG. No the majority aren't always right - but in this case they are! Even Dryml himself was admitting it was his fault by his immature screaming at Freddie "I didn't see you!!"..........that's proof enough that even he knew he was to blame. I await the news from the Czech Republic that Dryml has decided to quit - the sport will be a far safer place without him.

Badge - that just confirms my views. It's a very rough overtake by Lindgren. Whereas Gollob avoided contact with his pass on Pedersen, Lindgren doesn't manage to do the same. He moves his elbow out of the way, but then moments later the elbow moves back and contacts with Dryml. That causes Dryml to lose control and Lukas then hits Lindgren quite hard. But it was the initial contact by Lindgren that caused the problem. Correct decision by the referee.
