I have to agree with Brandon,s nomination. Just imagine if a rider had been seriously injured attempting to race on a track they had protested was not safe, and needed grading, they have an inquiry and find that Brandon had forced the meeting to continue when they knew regrading would make it safer. Brandon and Sky are sued ,end of Sky,s involvement in Speedway, collapse of Elite League, collapse of GP,s etc etc.

My first nomination and I'll probably be on my own with this one.....but James Easter of Travel Plus for threatening to sue TheCedarMan for likening his post to the goings-on in Fawlty Towers. ;D Serious sense of humour by-pass by Mr Easter and he's now trying to threaten TCM with a law suit. Another new development on this one... fair play to James Easter for realising he had seriously over-reacted and for making amends.

Fair play my arse.
It doesn't do his reputation any good flying off the handle like that and issuing threats of legal action.
Plonker aka flapperjack.

Come off it Rob, again your giving credit to the person who fucked things up in the first place. Just because he's said "oops sorry" doesn't make everything ok. I've seen that side of him before and that's the reason I don't have much time for him at all now. Rico

Rico - true, but it's better to back down and say sorry, rather than not do it at all. If only a certain current promoter of a track based in Cambridgeshire had the capacity to do the same AFAIK, Steve Brandon has not apologised for his very leading part in KL debacle, therefore for me, I would say he has the edge in this week's contest. Also his past record counts against him. Why should we all bow down to the great god Sky, which has done speedway as much harm as good. But it's for Jacques to decide - who's gone from a week with no contenders to a week with several leading contenders.

A late nomination - I nominate Lord Flapperjack for being unable to look me in the eye at KL on Thursday.
When I first bumped into him, I turned my back on him. However, when it came to trying to cross the pits area and I bumped into him again, I thought "what have I got to be ashamed about?" and stared him in the eye.
He couldn't look me straight in the face, and darted off so quickly into the pits area, he nearly got run over by a bike.

Another point which annoyed me a lot on Thursday, poor Travis McGowan was excluded for exceeding 2 mins after having two races on the trot and all because the meeting was having to be pushed through quickly to keep up with schedules. Later on, Chris Mills and Rory Schlein were both given the extra time to prepare for their next race after having two on trot!!! Travis was going well before this and imo totally ballsed up his meeting for him.
FLAPPERJACKSI totally agree with you SS, I was so angry on Travis' behalf
