Also when a meeting is shit like tonight says it's shit . I didn't see the whole meeting tonight, so can't comment. But I've had occasion in the past to note that he insults the intelligence of the viewing public by screaming a woeful meeting is "superb". He clearly doesn't realise that shouting something over and over doesn't make it true. Nor does it fool many people.

Reminds me of that short fat dark haired flapperjack football commentator ( whose name escapes me ) on ch 4 or 5.

Well if it can't be Millard ( and Sub you cannot be serious when you say that Nigel is worse than him : then I'm sure Terry Russell/Jonathan Chapman might be worthy for not bloody well allowing/getting the grading of the track until after heat 5 and 6 riders sliding off .

Lee Richardson, Matej Zagar and Peter Karlsson, and all the other riders who take the piss out of British Speedway. They should be told to fuck off.
Also, the riders tonight who were moaning about the track, whereas if it had been a GP they would have been out there without a second's delay.
Well done to Buster Chapman for holding his hand up and admitting that he had messed up the track, and then doing something about it. But for me this was only half the story - the increasing prima donna approach of the GP riders in the Elite League was the other half.

Remember the carry on at Poole at the beginning of last season when they tried to run the ELRC in April .

No idea about Italian football...he didn't know a single player from Udinese. He began criticising the pace Udinese were playing at when 1-0 and Inter were down to ten men. I think he forgot that players had already ran around for 60 minutes in 38 celsius and a player had suffered heart attacks the night before in similar conditions in Seville.

My first ever nomination (drum roll please)........................... Take a bow Nigel Pearson, man he did me in on TV with his 'This now is real speedway' or 'this is what we came to see' yeah ok heat 7 or 8 after the first 6 heats anything was better but to keep reminding us at heat 18, 19, 20 YES WE FUCKING WELL KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank god for Norris who was a calming influence (even though he was never gonna set foot in Lynn again ) So my nomination is Nigel Pearson.

But for me this was only half the story - the increasing prima donna approach of the GP riders in the Elite League was the other half. Zagar had a decent excuse last night (re-arranged Polish play-off fixture) for his no-show, though his commitment of late has been pretty piss-poor and bordering upon contempt. Richardson - clearly didn't fancy it last night and it's a very lame excuse he came up with. I hope someone's got the tow truck ready to pull him from Bracknell to Smallmead tonight. I've not seen Peter Karlsson's commitment to British speedway questioned very often and I'm surprised you threw his hat into the ring Rob. The last GP to take place in conditions as dangerous as last nights was surely Gothenburg, which of course was abandoned after the riders refused to race on it. I don't think you can blame riders for not wanting to tackle the farcial conditions they had put in front of them at the start of last nights meeting. As for saying well done to Mr Chapman, yes his honesty (in holding his hands up) can be applauded, but his track preparation was shite. Surprised he didn't collapse in the pits when he saw the riders struggling round like that. He's known to do that when things aren't going his way you know ;D Yes we're all grateful that things got sorted out, but why the fuck were they so bad in the first place for a supposed showpiece event ? FYI Zagar was this time riding in the Tarnow/Torun match so his absence is a genuine occurance. Honest there wasn't ANY mirth at all in the bar at Sheffield last night at the technical difficulties experienced ;D
