And another Subedei nomination are the BSPA and SCB for shamefully allowing Somerset a guest facility for Zetterstrom this evening, after Zetterstrom elected to ride in Poland last Sunday. Still, the powers-that-imagine-they-be wll no doubt come up with some cock-and-bull story as to why a similar facility wasn't afforded Berwick. But of course everybody knows this is wrong , but everybody knew it was going to happen . Speedway will be lucky to survive another 10 years in this country as people continually get pissed off with the BSPA and SCB and there inability or unwillingness to treat every club fairly and equally .

This is becoming a habit....Steve Brandon is actually a really nice guy.....He is floor manager therefore has to get the meeting done in the time......which im sure you can all agree may be a bit stressy sometimes.....Star Lady...surely you can have an opinion without being quite so distasteful BJ post deleted as I can't be arsed to defend my opinions ;D

I know maybe Sky can be a bit heavy handed....but its live television....and they have a job to do.......IMO it was up to the riders on Thursday after 1 race to say right lets get the track right or we are not riding....but they waited 7 heats.....
As for Sky effing Sports.....just remember 10 years ago when we were launching campaigns to get Speedway on tv...now we have got it all we do is moan about it the commentators.....the girls interviewing.,...the pundits.....for god sake enjoy it while you can,,,,,because if they pull out it will be us that suffer

Have you always been so self righteous or have you had to work at it ... I hardly think they'll be reading this do you? Sky sports are just as entitled to criticism as any other body promoting a product. So,from what you're saying ,we should put up and shut up cos the big bullies at Sky will take our Speedway away if we don't.... aah diddums..Grow up.

Jacques
Not saying that at all....All i am saying is it is very easy to critisize but if they were not there we would also be moaning.....They have been very good for our sport and developing a wider tv audience.....I am sure they dont read this either....just occasionally i would love to hear some credit where credit is due......Its the same with The Chapmans.....one thing goes wrong and bang they are this and they are that on the BSF....but not many people apart from me and Mr Hone actually stand up and say the good things they do.....As for growing up.....How did you know it was my birthday today

My first nomination and I'll probably be on my own with this one.....but James Easter of Travel Plus for threatening to sue TheCedarMan for likening his post to the goings-on in Fawlty Towers. ;D Serious sense of humour by-pass by Mr Easter and he's now trying to threaten TCM with a law suit.

It happens to everyone, but when it does, Buster gave an example of how to appease the public. I blame Sky in pushing too hard for the meeting to go ahead, when 10 minutes of track grading would have worked wonders... as was eventually proved. Steve Brandon would be a deserving winner this week... I'm not surprised to read of his man-handling of a Re-Run cameraman, having seen him tear a poor kid to shreds at Oxford.
