A very, very special race meeting. Sub, You're not wrong. That was a classic meeting - the Leszno track has got more lines than Bydgoszcz. Throughougly enjoyed the Extraleague match I saw there a couple of years ago. Cheering on the Poles against the Danes towards the end - mainly because Andersen is such an arrogant wanker. Kasprzak & Gollob were sensational, and that race where Balinski was thowing himself all over the place - WOW! But too many good races to recount them all. I recorded 75 passes beyond the opening half-lap, which is an extraordinary figure. All the best Rob

Not sure about the Balinski switch, to be honest. Walasek looked to be set fair in his second ride, until Nicki P hit some drive and cut across in front of him. You've got to suspect something was wrong with Walasek or that he'd have matched Balinski's four points if he was fit. But, still, worth it to see Desperate Dan giving it full gas - what a nutter.

Don't ask me - I was reading Harry Potter, though having seen some of Rob's spurious claims about potatoes and the Chuckle Brothers I'm now off to check his F1 stats out. ;D And to have a word with Nick.

All the best Rob Not to the best of my knowledge - he and I had a falling out over BSI, so I suspect I'm not a favourite of his. But he'd be welcome here. Looks like neither myself, schumi, this forum or Mr Hone are flavour of the month with SilverBee, nee SilverCheetah. Ah well, I can live with that.

Schumi, Yes, my knowledge of potatoes was found to be wanting, but I think my Chuckle Brothers info was spot on And my knowledge of F1 is scary... off the top of my head, I could reel off every World Champion since 1950, tell you how many races Senna, Prost, Mansell, Hill and Schumacher won in each year of their career, and even give a race-of-race breakdown of some of their careers: e.g in Mansell in 1992 was (points in each race): 10 10 10 10 10 6 0 10 10 10 6 6 0 10 0 0 And that's off the top of my head. All the best Rob P.S. Has Harry snuffed it yet - and is it a gruesome death? Don't give two hoots about Harry Potter - but after the hype, interested to see how it ends.

What a fantastic meeting and well done to Poland on an awesome victory. They were all superb especially my man Tomasz who still makes my heart jump when I watch him race. I was a bit disappointed with Hans Andersen's outburst but I guess he was feeling it a tad just having lost out. I don't know what happened to the Aussies but sadly they were a shadow of the team we saw in the race offs. As for team GB the least said the better....dreadful display.
Lezno looks to be a fabulous racing track and if the GP ever goes there I have to make the journey.

Leszno has a contract to hold GPs in 2008 and 2009 midnight lady, with Wroclaw losing out. It's possible this season will see the last Bydgoszcz GP for a while as well.
