I've had an E-Mail this afternoon telling me that two signings will be announced early next week and the last one will be announced at the supporters club AGM on Jan 7th .

I'm pleased to announce that Glasgow have signed two young Australian prospects Mitchell Davey and Josh Grajczonek on two year contracts . Both are 17 and come in on 5.00 averages subject to work permit approvals . This breathes fresh life into our team and i'm really looking forward to seeing them progress in the Tigers colours . Obviously they will take time and will more than likely be on the wild side to begin with , but hopefully they'll carry on a Glasgow tradition of producing young spectacular Aussies in the mould of Lyons , Bowes , Janke etc .

Mitchell Davey in particular, has had some good stuff written about him..........a good move by Glasgow in my opinion.
Do you have their dates and places of birth Paulco?

Will you be keeping an eye on the Aussie Championships then, Paulco? Josh is riding in that - starts tomorrow at 9am our time, and is being broadcast on Radio Freemantle.

Yes , Robert Ksiezak is also riding in that and Mitchell Davey is reserve . I believe young Josh won one of the state under-21 titles . This has really rekindled my enthusiasm for the new season and i cant wait now for March 9th to come around .

But hopefully they'll carry on a Glasgow tradition of producing young spectacular Aussies in the mould of Lyons , Bowes , Janke etc . Oh come on, young paulco, Shane Bowes started out in the United Kingdom with Newcastle, not Glasgow. Still, looks like a couple of good signings by the heathen Tigers.

Aye you're correct , but he became a proper speedway rider when arriving at Shawfield . ;D

If anyone has any news on Shane Parker reportedly being taken to hospital with a blood clot on the lung recently, could they post it please? It was said on the radio during the Aussie Championships, but I can't find any more news on it.

Glasgow's official website gives good news about Shane. I do think that whoever in Australia announced it was a blood clot should have checked the facts first. Good news though for Shane and of course Glasgow.
