Best thing of all(well in truth 2nd best) it was great to see 'Hall of fame(r)' David Howe ride so well and have a smile on his face. I like David Howe - a super little rider who always comes across well in interviews. Howe's biggest problem has always been that certain posters at the BSF have always over-egged his pudding and tried to make him out to be more than he genuinely is. He is a handy little rider.

And your stupidity means you don't realise that young Paulco also has Josh Auty in his team and remains top. Yes, but I don't mind having my heathen chum ahead of me, it's having lower types like you ahead that is harder to take. Well, you'll have to get used to it. ;D

again shows how Premier League racing puts Elite League shite to shame. How predictable that someone should post that, and probably more predictable that it was Genghis. The fact is this was a fantastic meeting tonight and the primary reason for that is that Normanby Road has a brilliant race track. Just because Scunthorpe race in the Premier League it doesn't mean PL is better than EL......... in the future it's Scunthorpe's stated intention to move up into the Elite League....... when that time comes, will it mean EL is better than PL? Of course not, it will just underline the fact that Scunthorpe have one of the finest tracks in the World! Man of the meeting for me was Ricky Ashworth who was involved in some classic races, but bizarrely failed to score a hatful of points, which he would have if there were any justice in the World. Hat's off to everyone involved in getting this meeting on Sky, and looking forward to the day they return there, be it EL, PL or NL racing........or even an FIM event........how good would that be?

The best racetrack in the country. Sky need to return to wonderful, wonderful super Scunny. i concur with you a 100% a gem of a track... surely all new tracks should be build to that design . If all tracks were like that speedway would sure be in a better state

A really fantastic meeting..had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Have to agree - like the look of Scunthorpe's track. And thought Tony Steele's refereeing was once again spot on tonight ! Lovely to see so many young British lads displaying some great racing. Josh Auty MOM for me !

It actually gives the riders the chance to race, and that's speedway Marvellous meeting, and a big well done to all involved.

Well, sorry to be predictable but it's true. And it appears that Sky are starting to catch on. Hopefully they've realised that every match they've shown from Belle Vue and Ipswich is more painful than watching paint dry and that it's far more likely that a match from Scunthorpe or Somerset will provide top quality racing. Back to Scunthorpe again please.

Back to Scunthorpe again please. The one thing we should have all learn from the last week is that we have seen 3 good tracks weather that was in the PL or the El and that inturn have given us some great racing . I don't like watching matches at belle vue and ipswich (sorry badge lw etc ) but i am sure there are a couple of tracks like that in the pl . The track was the main reason we saw a great match tonight and it would have been just as good with el riders on it just like last nights match at wolves would have been good with pl riders on it .

Which only goes to prove my point - Somerset and Scunthorpe are excellent tracks, Ipswich and Belle Vue are poor - it's the tracks which are to blame not the league they race in.
