Cracking meeting so far . Sheffield are a poorish side though , would be much better Scunny at home to one of the better teams . Agree with Sub though , that was a poor decision by Steele .

Cracking Heat 5 with about 10 passes, although Tony Steele showed he is human, even the world's best referee can make a mistake. The bloke from Corry stuck to the inside line and Bergstorm lost control.

Some really superb racing going on at Scunthorpe tonight - miles and miles better than the stuff from Monmore last night.

The excellent racing continues. Bumping & barging in Heat 9, followed by two great races in one in Heat 10.
Now I think everyone can see why I took a three-hour journey up the motorway on Saturday. I'll probably go back up for the double header on the bank holiday at the end of the month as well.
The best racetrack in the country. Sky need to return to wonderful, wonderful super Scunny.

Great stuff, but stupidity from Boocock not to have Auty out in Ht 14 - he'll have a tough ask to get points off Scunthorpe in Ht 15, but he could've scored well in Ht 14.

If the racing on the bank holiday (25th) is anything like today, I may make my second trip of that week to Super Scunny and join you at British Speedway's premier racetrack.

Well, that was by several country miles the best stuff seen on Sky so far this season - better than all the rest put together, in fact. Some glorious action. And Eric Boocock's stupidity means that genghis doesn't go too far ahead in the fantasy league either.

Best thing of all(well in truth 2nd best) it was great to see 'Hall of fame(r)' David Howe ride so well and have a smile on his face.

Yes, David Howe is a really smashing chap, so it's nice to see him doing well.

Yes, but I don't mind having my heathen chum ahead of me, it's having lower types like you ahead that is harder to take.
