And this week we've a double bill of domestic speedway on Sky Sports, as the screaming imbecile and his band travel to Wolverhampton for a touch of "steak and chips" speedway on Monday before heading to Scunthorpe for some "egg and chips" speedway on Tuesday. Starting with the Elite League fayre, it's a Midlands derby at Monmore Green as the visitors are the Coventry Bees. Wolverhampton have really been doing well just recently, while the Bees have been misfiring a bit, with their GPer Chris Harris being particularly hit and miss. So, on the face of it, I'm expecting a comfortable win for the Wolves and for Peter Oakes to summon his boys to the toilets for a team talk during the interval. Turning to the Premier League action on Tuesday, it seems to me that Sky have chosen an odd fixture in Scunthorpe versus Sheffield. Scunthorpe, while being a compact and useful unit, are hardly setting the world on fire, while the Yorkshire Tigers aren't doing very well at all. It should be an easy win for the homesters and that's what I'm expecting.

Well, Birmingham or Sheffield, makes no real difference as both are poor sides. The Yorkshire Tigers got spanked good and proper on an earlier visit to the Eddie Wright raceway. So, if it does turn out to be Sheffield, I'll just be able to substitute one name for another.

It is definitely Sheffield. Well, call me a trusting fool, if you will, but I just go off what is on the Sky Sports website. You'd have thought Sky would know what they are screening, but it seems they don't. I don't think it makes much difference. Birmingham are a poor side, Sheffield are a poor side. I guess with such low expectations on my part it'll be a classic.

Wolverhampton versus Coventry
Wolverhampton..1..Karlsson 2..Klindt 3..Woffinden 4..Skornicki 5..Lindgren 6..Stichauer 7..Proctor Coventry..1..Harris 2..Wells 3..R/R 4..Kennett 5..Schlein 6..Sitera 7..Frampton Ht 1.. Ht 2.. Ht 3.. Ht 4.. Ht 5.. Ht 6.. Ht 7.. Ht 8.. Ht 9.. Ht 10.. Ht 11.. Ht 12.. Ht 13.. Ht 14.. Ht 15.. Notes: 1.. Line-ups out for tonight, a quick glance tells you Coventry are going to get walloped, mind you, you dont need to be a genius to work that one out, the bookies have Wolverhampton as 1/100 to win and expect the victory to be around 14/15 points. And this the result of the sport destroying 'average system' which supposedly levels teams up. Question 1: Will Lindgren be unbeaten Question 2: Which two from Harris, Kennett and Schlein will be asked to take a tactical.

There is a big plunge going on Wolverhampton tonight, who are now expected to win by over 17 points, seems rather too much to me, Karlsson has not been in the best of form lately, Klindt has been a bit of a disappointment, Woffinden is over-rated and Skornicki is a 'law unto himself'.

I guess the left hand isn't talking to the right hand. Shoddy stuff from a professional site.
