Easy to have close racing when they are going so much slower than elite races you have lost it man.

Rico, a quick question. The best meeting on Sky this year: was it a PL match or a World Cup match? As good as Peterborough was, it didn't match Scunthorpe v Sheffield. And, in the flesh, the best meeting I've seen this year??? - well you were there. A fascinating Scunthorpe v Edinburgh PL contest followed by the even better Scunthorpe v Plymouth NL match. Personally I'd say Monday's SWC meeting surpassed the Scunny v Sheffield match. And I'm not just saying that to disagree with you. As for the Scunny v Edinburgh match, as you know I was there. I thought it was a good match, but not brilliant. The SWC is a 4 events in one week, 25 races per event, once a year thing. For the armchair fan it's great as you have 100 races in your living room in the space of 7 days. You have riders putting in effort beyond what you will see them putting in on these shores in the EL. Properly motivated riders on decent tracks tends to produce great racing and the SWC has a habit of delivering a few gems as the week progresses, hence why I'm such a fan of it. Rico

It's alright, but it's a bit of a circus. Proper league racing is the Real McCoy.
