Perhaps someone will favour me with a reason why Eastbourne had a guest for Nicki P this afternoon, when Pedersen was riding in an open meeting in Poland.

Yes it was a re-arranged fixture and was only confirmed a week ago. So I would imagine Nicki agreed to do the Poland meeting before this fixture was confirmed.

How could he ? he was injured Is that...How could he be racing in Poland because he is injured, like the Eastbourne promotion keep telling that's why he missed the Belle Vue meeting when everyone knows he raced in Poland. Or is it..How could he agree to do the meeting in the first place if he was injured?? Anyway,I don't think we're going to be told why we were allowed a guest for him Which I think is a question that needs to be answered because it shows yet more inconsistency. Further news, It would appear that Nicki is planing on racing in Eastbournes final 2 meetings of the season, away at Lakeside and at home to Reading. Will these be his last ever Eastbourne meetings?? At this moment in time I unfortunately think so.

Unless the BSPA come up with some way of cutting costs and still having 1 GP rider I fear that it could have been the last time that Nicki rode as an Eagle.
Think we might well see his testimonial at Arlington though.

Dave listen mate Nicki has said he has no interest in returning to Monmore & i don't blame him. He will be Easties 1 GP rider & anyway The Scavenging Wolves already have a GP rider in Freedie Lindgren.

I'm not hearing anything that is making me think he is goin to race in the UK. At the tail end of 2006 Nicki dropped a huge hint that he'd be back at Eastbourne, and despite the muppets from Poole having everyone believe he'd be a Pirate this year, he still lined up for the Eagles. He's dropped another huge hint that he'll be back next season....... I see a pattern developing........... have faith.

If his alleged demands to race for Rzeszow in Poland are anything to go by (supposedly £350,000), can anyone afford him?

Looks like Nicki will be deciding his future soon. Extract from his website talking about his upcoming trip to Valencia:
"The trip to Valencia is Nicki's way to say thanks to his GP-team, but at the same time it's also the beginning of planning the 2008-season. "

After a succesfull operation in both underarms before the 2007-season, which removed a lot of pain, when riding speedway, Nicki had another small operation today in his right underarm.
"Theres were still some minor problems in my right arm, but my doctor tells me, that that I'm gonna be ok. But already this season I felt much better than previous years, so I'm very confident that my problems are over now.
Already next week Nicki starts building up his muscles.

From Nicki's website 9.11.07 The thought that Nicki will be back fitter & stronger in 2008 must have his fellow competitors dribbling brown stuff down their trouser legs.
