And so the Sky cameras return to the lower league again for this week's televised encounter, as old Sky favourites Reading take on Uncle Len's Rye House Rockets. How many times will the screaming imbecile and Kelvin Tatum MBS cock things up this week, I wonder. Sad to say, but it'll take something very special to match getting the winner of a Grand Prix wrong, but you never know with such quarter-wits. A chance for the viewing millions to see Tai Woffinden in action. But I suspect he'll be fighting a lone battle against the Racers, who should win comfortably, lead by Ulrich Ostergaard.

Well this is going to be a shite meeting with only Woffinden offering any resistance from the Rockets.
Neath will put in his usual crap away score.

Have to agree, Rye House have been appauling on their travels this season.. I see nothing but a massive home victory 58-35.. Ostergaard to go through the card!

Well having been constantly told by our esteemed PL fans, that the only speedway to watch is the PL, I have yet to be convinced TBH. The last televised meeting from the IOW was a huge borefest, and by the sounds of it this will be too. Why is this, do Sky feature the wrong meetings, or is the PL truly just a watered down EL?
BTW this is not a smart alec response, I am truly interested in the opinions of the PL fans.

The only decent one 'down south' is Somerset. All the 'northern' tracks produce racing, apart from Newcastle which is gate and go most of the time.

Okay Marron, care to give us all your detailed analysis of each of the tracks 'down south' assuming you've been to them all? And what do you define as 'down south' - everything south of Boro???

Rye House - Dust bowl which has way too much home advantage to make any meeting half decent. The only passing is done by the home riders.
Reading - More often processional than exciting.
IOW - Not been before but going by what i have been told and read there is, again, too much home advantage with alot of gate and go races.
Somerset - Great racing track and even though Somerset do get some big home results, there is always good racing from both sets of riders.
Mildenhall - Probably the best racing track in the PL.
Kings Lynn - Not been but, like IOW and Rye House, there is too much home advantage but more so than the other 2.[glow=red,2,300]4 out of 6 are crap tracks[/glow] Out of the tracks further north; Stoke, Redcar, Edinburgh, Berwick, Scunthorpe, Workington all produce good racing more often than not with only Newcastle and Sheffield tracks that i find boring. Glasgow is a bit of both to be honest and the same goes for Birmingham (didn't know where to put this one ) These are of course my opinions of the tracks from when i visited and in some cases the opinions of fellow Bears fans who have been.

Kev - Mear is talented, but his scoring away from home has been temporarily stemmed since his elevation from reserve. P.S. Marron, are you forgetting something? *Ahem* Flapperjack of the Week decision time.

I can't see any dust at Reading tonight. More like a swimming pool as I have been working all night and there has been alot of rain. And yesterday.
