Not too hard to understand really is it? Was going to ask you the same question The end result was the meeting wouldn't/shouldn't have gone ahead no matter how you want to dress it up

Does look like there will be a restaging. From the BSPA press release:
Meanwhile, a new date for the Elite League Best Pairs will be known soon after the unfortunate cancellation at King's Lynn due to rain on April 5 - and as soon as it is know the BSPA will issue a full press statement.
SUPER 7EVEN DATES AND VENUES: ELITE LEAGUE BEST PAIRS: King's Lynn - NEW DATE TBA

Let's hope the next time they get decent weather and the riders make this a showcase event just like it is supposed to be.

That's a right Royal pain in the arse!! also surely that gives a huge home advantage to Leigh Adams and Troy Batchelor!

How does that work? A meeting involving all teams clashing with a normal league fixture.

it is if you support Glasgow PP.... mmm... being held at Swindon, geographically it's probably better for people to get to, I wonder who'll win that then..? we won't be going.....

Why not host it in the midlands? Birmingham or Sheffield spring to mind.... Hosting it at Swindon is just a BSPA and Terry Russell love pact, that would make Leigh Adams and Troy Batchelor unfair favourites

Sheffield in the Midlands ... ;D Should have chosen Coventry, even with a home advantage, we still wouldn't win it... ;D

Excellent ;D
PL on Friday, EL Pairs on Sunday both within easy reach.
Don't see EL pairs being held at Blunsdump giving Swindon too much on a home advantage tbh. There's plenty of ex-Robins in other teams around the EL & plenty of other riders who go well round the Abbey.
Far from Swindon being favourites, BV look just as strong, if not stronger with Crump & Gjeede.

Apologise for all those Yorkies I may have offended! nb. Leigh Adams will be unbeatable at Blunsdump!!
