So, the coming week sees Sky's coverage of the 2008 Elite League commence with the former British champion's return to Coventry after his winter move to Eastbourne. How long will the on-track action hold the attention? How long before I get sick of the "screaming imbecile" assaulting my ear drums with his inane wittering? How long before I'm sick of hearing Tatum going "thhhhhhhhhhhhwwwoaaaarhhhhh" as if some big breasted wench had just flashed her knockers in his direction? How long before I grow weary of that cretin Jonathon Green bouncing around like he's Zebedee? And who will win? I expect Coventry to win by a decent enough margin, with the former British champion and another ex Bee, Lee Richardson, doing most to keep the home side working.

It's been a long, cold winter and I'm gagging for it!
Speedway, that is..... ;D
Looking forward to tomorrow night - see how Scotty behaves himself in front of his old home crowd. Could be close - or Eastie might just edge it.

I'll be at this meeting, although the normal drill is to record it and watch it back when we get home. Nigel Pearson doesn't bother me anyway...in fact I quite like the sky team..altough I wouldn't missTony Millard if he decided to retire.. ;D I'm really glad it's back on and it appears that there will be other teams getting a look in this year ,even Ippo (that should stop the moaning)...

Us moaning Jacques how could you say that ;D Bit like Tobi's happiness at winning at Lakeside last week (he hasn't been in a Witches side that won a meeting away) well he also hasn't been in a Witches side to appear on TV, so hopefully he will be interviewed by fish face and Jumpy knickers Green so all can see what a lovely lad he is ;D

Hmmm, now is this his, or your, memory playing tricks Badge? 21st June '06, I think possibly Tobi's first meeting for the team? Either way, we won by 6 and here are our boys on the trailer about to go out and take their victory lap.....

Now you really have offended me Paul.....are we really arrogant, "our team is superior" type fans Witch was just going by what he said on the radio, however perhaps he was meaning last season and where is Mr Jansson ahem.....back to Coventry now then.

The sun is shining here in Coventry at present & it looks like we're in for a cracker.I certainly hope Rico doesn't continue his rich vein of form otherwise we could be in the soup, his Brandon form of the last few years will do nicely, not that i've anything against Lee, it just makes me slightly nervous.

Must admit Booey, the change of club and the responsibility of being Captain certainly seems to suit him ATM, should make for a good meeting, but still think your lot will be victorious.
