And what were you hoping for?

Not the Ferraris line astern that's for sure, could leave Hamilton hung out to dry if they close ranks at the first corner, probably would've been better if Lewis had qualified third, assuming there was no way he could get pole.
I only hope he gets an absolutely storming start (although he hasn't always been too good at that) and that Massa doesn't decide to play the hero and take him out early on.

I don't think Massa's interested in any of what's going on, being out of the title chase. He's gone on record saying he wants to win, being his home GP, and I think he'll be doing his best to do that. UNLESS Lewis miraculously ends up dropping a few positions or retiring, in which case quiet team orders will come into play.

I suppose, if you're being completely dispassionate, it's not in any of the top four's interests to get tangled up with each other, but then F1 can be a very passionate sport.

Good luck Lewis . Just let those nasty Ferrari's disappear into the distance and stay just behind that Spanish flapperjack and the title is yours - after that is , all the appeals that maybe his tyres are the wrong type or Alonso claims his pit stop was half a second quicker because he's getting special treatment .

My thoughts exactly, follow the Spanish twat and let the FIArraris dissapear off into the distance. The good old British sence of fair play obviously is not followed by all. ;D Good luck Lewis Hamilton.

I don't believe it. Why did McLaren three stop Hamilton?

Splendid. I look forward to seeing Ferrari lose their championship points for fixing the result of this race.

Well. First let me say McLaren should never have put Hamilton in that position. They should have brought him in at the last race for tyres, they should have known the rules this weekend and not messed up with putting two sets on him during practise and adding to the pressure, and they should have two-stopped him like everyone else during the race. McLaren lost the championship for Hamilton this year.
Now that’s out of the way I think Kimi is a very worthy champion and I couldn’t be more pleased for him. He’s driven consistently and didn’t bow to pressure – we saw Lewis falling foul of that in this race himself.
The race itself was pretty uneventful, apart from Nakajima running over his pit crew. With all the build-up over which McLaren would be world champion it’s really thrown a spanner in the works that NEITHER of them got it, and to be honest it’s a bit of an anti-climax. I wonder how long it will take Kimi for it to sink in?

A Ferrari stitch-up before a global audience and nothing will be said at all - F1 is now just about letting Ferrari do whatever they damned well like. I like Raikkonen, but his world championship is tainted by the machinations of Mr Toad and his underlings Ecclestone and Mosley.

Well I am gutted for Hamilton, I really thought he would do it, and he probably would have if it wasn't for McLaren. Really wasn't a good race for me with Lewis not winning and Webber and Button yet again failing to finish.
But congratulations Raikkonen on winning the title, at least it was Kimi and not the spainsh flapperjack, now that would have been awful.

From the 4th corner when Hamilton went off the track he was doomed, all he had to do was follow the 3 of them and he could have been World Champion.
Don't know about the phantom gearbox trouble, but as Schumi has said Mclaren and Dennis lost the title for Lewis in China with the most stupid pit stop ever, for a conservative strategy it was a bit suicidal.
Well done to Raikkonen, he has had to put up with the Mclaren for 2 seasons, now he is in the FIA's own personal team FIArrari he has driven it well.
Its just a shame that Alonso couldn't have had the gearbox problems that Lewis had, perhaps the FIA's spy in the Spanish twats garage made sure that his car was 100%, maybe there should have been an observer in Hamiltons garage as well.
