So who's in the frame to replace him?
- Chris Louis - John Louis - Chris Morton - Uncle Colin (again) - Uncle Eric (again) - Rosco ( ;D tee hee - I should have been a comedian!) - Havvy - Jon Cook - Mark Loram - Martin Dugard (they've got half the squad at Eastbourne anyway) - Kelvin T (umm err - ok, maybe not) - Boycie ( ;D ;D ;D) - Sven (why not go for a foreigner) - Steve McLaren (can't do any worse)
Anyone else come to mind?

Trevor Swales not on the list “We wish him and his family all the very best for the future as we now focus on the appointment of a new Team Great Britain manager.” Just focus on an England manager and drop the Team GB!

Has Peter Oakes, got half an hour spare amongst his many other jobs, as he would probably do a good job, but might be a perfect job for Mark Loram, the only thing is, he is probably too close to the current riders at the moment.

Oakesy's probably got a few hours spare now that he doesn't have Oxford any more - which is sad
He's been brilliant with Colin at Coventry (and long may that continue), but I just wonder if he can get the boys working as professionally as they need to be and firing on all cylinders at the very top level in the SWC.
I'm not sure who that person could be, but gut feel says they need to be someone like an 'Ermolenko' - but obviously not calling Mr Harris 'Chris Bomber' all the time. ;D

What about Rob Lyon or John Sampford. Sorry Jacques but i'm not sure Oakesy would be willing, he's had a few gripes with the B.S.P.A over the years & rightly so.

Yes, have Trevor Swales. If anyone's going to tell the riders they're not needed, it's got to be him.

I'd like to see someone who knows exactly how the 'best in the world' do things - currently the Danes, Aussies and Poles.
How do these guys set themselves up? How do they prepare? How do they focus?
You look at the likes of NP and see just how much goes into his preparation - on all aspects - physical, mental, machinery, organisation, etc - and you think, well that's what our guys should be striving for.
Easier said than done, admittedly, given that NP has pots of cash, but is there some way that the new 'Team GB' regime can help our potential stars improve on what they currently do?

Ivan Mauger...failing that Rosco for comedy value.
It will probably be Oakes or Havelock.
