This is currently on the Mildenhall website. Please visit it for other newa:- Admission Prices Frozen Thursday, 28 January 2016 08:18 Mildenhall Speedway are pleased to announce that 2016 entrance prices will be held for another season as will the price of the programme. Adult admission remain at £12.00, Concessions (60+) £11.00, Students £11.00, Juniors (15 and under) Free, Programmes £1.50 and car parking free.
There will however be a couple of changes to the way the stadium is accessed on meeting days and access to the pit area that the club would like to advise supporters of ahead of the seasons commencement.
Firstly there will be no general entrance to the stadium from the back gate in 2016. Apart from Club Officials, Club invited guests, Riders and mechanics everyone else will be required to enter the stadium from the entrances in the main car park. No money will be able to be taken at the back gate this coming season apart from Disabled Supporters whose only access is via the back gate.
Also with Health & Safety requirements in mind, all supporters and sponsors will be required to leave the pit area by 2.30pm on meeting days and will not be able to re-enter the pits until after the final race of the day, including the second half. Please note it will not be possible to cross from the grandstand to the first bend via the pits between these times.
It is hoped that supporters will understand the need to put in place these changes, but if anyone has any concerns or questions Kevin Jolly (club promoter) will be happy to discuss at the Meet the Riders event or the Snail Racing evening.

From the SGB website:: :::::: MILDENHALL’S Luke Ruddick faces a month on the sidelines after suffering a broken bone in his arm in last weekend’s National Trophy match against Kent.
Ruddick is to be replaced in Sunday’s clash with the Isle of Wight by Adam Sheppard whilst Connor Mountain hopes to be back in action despite knee problems.
Ruddick said: “I am disappointed with my performance on Sunday and the resulting injury, I guess I was trying too hard to score points and now will have to miss a few meetings. I have broken the radius bone in my arm and am now in plaster.
“But I am determined to come back stronger and repay the faith the promotion and the incredible supporters here have in me. My bike was badly damaged on Sunday which was a worry, but the amazing response to the crowd funding for Connor and me has knocked me over.”

From the SGB website: ::::: MILDENHALL have moved to sign Chris Widman following his release by Stoke earlier this week.
The Fen Tigers have re-declared their side due to number of injuries at reserve, and Widman will make his debut in the National League clash with champions Birmingham on Sunday.
Promoter Kevin Jolly said: “As soon as I saw Chris has been released I felt he was just the rider we had been looking for to give us some important stability at reserve with us suffering so much misfortune in those positions this season.
“His current average (3.47) in no way reflects his ability and I am confident with our support and back up we can soon get him scoring to his true potential which in my opinion is as least two points above his current average.”

From the SGB website: ::: MILDENHALL have announced the signing of talented 15-year-old Jordan Jenkins for the 2017 National League campaign.
Jenkins impressed during three appearances for the Fen Tigers this year having stepped up from demonstration races at West Row, and collected paid-13 in their home win over Cradley.
Promoter Kevin Jolly sad: “This is another great piece of news for Mildenhall Speedway and our supporters. Jordan has great potential and is a highly likeable young man who wants to learn and progress his career in the correct manner.
“We put in a lot of time and effort last season with Jordan and are grateful that he has shown loyalty to Mildenhall. We will not put any pressure on him and of course will support him in every way possible.
“He was a pleasure to work with last season as was his Grandad Ross, and both will be valued additions to our pit area. Things are starting to fall into place nicely and once the NL AGM has taken place we hope to be in a position to announce further riders.”

From the SGB website:: :::::::: MILDENHALL have announced Danny Halsey will return to the club for a seventh successive season in 2017.
Halsey was a member of the Fen Tigers’ Grand Slam-winning side in 2012 and is also a former National League Riders’ Champion, with the West Row side expecting him to keep up the momentum from a strong end to the last campaign.
Promoter Kevin Jolly said: “In my mind on his day Danny is as good as it gets at this level, he just needs to find his consistency early on and maintain it throughout to have another big season for us.
“He is very popular both on and off the track and there is no doubt he rides better with Jon (Armstrong) in the side. The pair put in some brilliant rides together last season and we will be hoping for more of the same in 2017.”

From the SGB website: :::::: CONNOR Mountain will be back with Mildenhall for a fourth straight season in 2017.
The 19-year-old has recovered from a back injury which saw his 2016 campaign cut short and joins Danny Halsey, Jon Armstrong and Jordan Jenkins in the Fen Tigers' line-up.
Mildenhall promoter Kevin Jolly said: "Connor was always at the top of my list for riders to return.
"He is a pleasure to work with and is a fine example to all up and coming young riders. He is professional both on and off the track, his equipment is always in pristine condition and he has excellent family support.
"He will start the season at number one and he showed last season that it doesn’t faze him one bit going out in heat one.
"We will be looking for him to nail that heat for us and set the tone for the meeting ahead, especially at home meetings."
