The highlight of the evening for me was when Fiona Bruce, Susannah Reid, Kate Silverton and Sophie Raworth did their bit just before the 10 o'clock news. All those lovelies in one go. The tugometer went way off scale!!!  |

I find it rather strange that you berate the efforts of people raising money for charity under the banner of "Children in Need" then confess to actually watching it. It isn't so much all charity efforts we're complaining about.. just having Children in Need imposed upon us (BTW - I didn't watch it yesterday). There are many worthy charities that do good jobs without hogging the limelight, and I think it should be an individual thing as to whether one supports them or not. I also dislike aggressive charities, and I find CiN falls into that category to some extent. |
