Clubs cannot ban riders from riding elsewhere only governing bodies can do that as it's them that issue the riders licenses.

From what I can make out, the club originally asked their lawyers if they could impose the ban, and they were told yes, because they'd claimed the actions of these riders had ultimately led to the club's demise.
Had this played out, I think the PZM would have had to back the club, at least in the case of the Poles, and been able to block the foreigners from riding in Poland.
Just glad this all seems to be at an end, and hopefully the riders can move on now.

Basically they're going over the legalities of these penalties, and it seems that if the riders lodged a complaint within three days of their imposition it makes them void. Presumably, if the club didn't inform the riders of the suspension - as seems to be the case - they couldn't appeal, and are therefore void anyway.

Also, as the suspension was given by the old board, and new members have since been elected, it's highly unlikely anything more can come of this.

And it seems this saga is drawing to a close, as it reads to me that Ostrow didn't have the authority to impose such sanctions on the riders.

As it is, Ostrow are 3 million kr in debt, and are currently trying to avoid bankruptcy, so they have bigger problems to worry about anyway.

It's over. The riders have received a one year suspended ban from riding in Poland and are now free to sign for other teams.
