The FOTW threads won't start up again properly until mid-March. But in the meantime, this thread is somewhere where you can get things off your chest by nominating flapperjacks. No winner - just a chance to let off some steam.

I'd like to nominate all the motoring flapperjacks who drive onto petrol station forecourts, and just because the available pumps are not the same side as their fuel tank, just sit there and wait. whilst they block the entrance or cause a jam. (i.e Morrisons, Ipswich)
Most pump hoses are retractable, so it's not like it's going to scratch or damage anything!!!

I find it very difficult to pull the hose out that far and stretch it round the car.....

Possibly depends on what car you have, and the pump layout?

Ah, but while Zonkers and the rest are queueing up, I can nip in and get to the pump first. ;D ;D

Possibly depends on what car you have, and the pump layout? True.....I have rather a large car, so maybe that's why! That's my excuse anyway ! (Nice avatar pic Lorna ! )

If I'm honest, I actually find it irritating when I'm queing up nicely, and some smart-arse dives into an empty pump and starts stretching his hose round the other side of his car, just because he can't be bothered to wait for a free one on his side ! It's always the men, you notice......! Honestly....no patience, you men ! ;D

Typical women, farting about and blocking up the forecourt, instead of driving up to an available pump.
