Most are not Nicholls fans, altho' I feel that Jarek didn't do any favours last year, so wouldn't want to take the risk again, but I have to say that altho Scott didn't lead from the front, he did have amassive impact on the team and so would probably want him as our No 1 rather than the enigma that is Miskowiak. Definitely don't want that pansy andersen fellow back , actually would love Freddie or PK ;D.

Witches planning to go wide of the mark
Ipswich Witches are still looking to widen their Foxhall Stadium track before the start of the 2010 speedway season.
Plans have been afoot for a number of months now and a proposed new inside line has been marked on the centre green for a number of weeks.
If it goes ahead it is bound to improve racing on the heath giving more opportunities for riders to pass.
Witches rider/manager Chris Louis says that it is basically a matter of finding the finance and the work can start.
"I have made some studies and it will cost in excess of £20,000", said Louis.
"We are looking towards sponsorship to provide this additional money and more information on this will be announced soon.
"Ideally, we want to get it sorted by Christmas and if so the new track should be in use for the start of the new season."
Louis is expected to shortly announce his retirement from racing after a tremendously successful career that stretches back to 1988, and he is expected to be granted a farewell meeting next summer.
He is 40 and hasn't ridden since injuring his upper arm in a crash at Foxhall in April 2008having been a one-club man and ridden around 700 Witches meetings.
"At the moment I don't intend riding next year," said Louis, who confirmed that he will be carrying on with his successful TV work for Sky Sports.
He plans to attend next week's British Speedway Promoters' Association annual meeting in Bournemouth for a couple of days - but not as promoter.
His father John will continue to hold the reins for a Suffolk based clu that will be staying in the Elite League.
Louis junior was a member of a "think tank" that looked into ways of improving the lot of British clubs and introduced a three-year plan.
This has now expired, with Louis saying he doesn't want any more involvement.
"The ideas we came forward with were not put into practice," said Louis.
"I gave my views three years ago and will comment on the state of British speedway again afte next week's annual meeting."

So Hampel has said he won't be riding in the Elite League in 2010 It appears this is not final Schumi......taken from www.speedwaygp.com Hampel is taking some time to relax as he mulls over his options for next season. The 27-year-old admits he would consider a British comeback.
But with the SGP series on his 2010 schedule, the Pole admits he may already have enough on his plate, having done deals with Leszno in Poland and Elit Vetlanda in Sweden.
He said: “Everything is going to be much different next year because doing the Grand Prix will be a different story. I need to be good when I want to be one of the best riders in the world.
“I will continue in Sweden and Poland. But I will make a decision about Britain in December.
“It’s very hard to race Britain, Poland, Sweden and the Grand Prix because it’s too much travelling and too many meetings. But I need to think about it anyway.”

King: I want to be No1 for many years to come
Ipswich Witches captain Danny King has told Foxhall fans, "I want to be the No1 at Ipswich and for many years to come."
King, 23, enjoyed a successful return to the Witches in 2009, although he admitted to being apprehensive about his return to Suffolk after his proposed loan move to Peterborough two years ago ended with bad words exchanged between the two clubs. That's all water under the bridge now, but it left King worried about his return to Foxhall, and the reaction he would get from the Ipswich fans.
He needn't have worried, "I have had the happiest time in my career so far, at Ipswich last season. I've enjoyed every single minute," King said.
"I can't tell you how happy I am to be back at the club and yet at the start of the season I was so worried about coming back.
"But the Ipswich fans have simply been brilliant to me in everything. I want to thank them so much for the way they have treated me.
"Now I'm looking forward to the future. I set myself high goals and I want to be the No1 at Ipswich for many years to come."
King is an Ipswich asset and one of the brightest talents in British Speedway. He took over the captaincy at Foxhall this season after Leigh Lanham moved to Newport.
With Chris Louis and Mark Loram seemingly coming to the end of their careers after bad injuries, King's enthusiasm to take up the Witches mantle and lead the Suffolk side into the next decade will be music to the ears of Ipswich fans.
"It was good for me to go away to Peterborough for a couple of seasons and I wouldn't change that," King said.
"Apart from anything else it has made me realise what good people the likes of Chris and John Louis are, as well as Pete (Simmons).
"To take over the captaincy was even more special and if Chris and John wanted me to do it again next season, I'd be delighted."
King also thanked his mechanics and everyone at Foxhall in a season he has clearly hugely enjoyed.
For the Witches to have one of the country's best youngsters as their own asset and who is settled and happy at the club is a big boost.
Ipswich Witches fans will certainly hope King can lead the Foxhall side to success in the years ahead.

Taken from witchesfans.co.uk:
Jerran has no Hart for Witches
IPSWICH-BASED speedway sensation Jerran Hart has no plans to ride for his home town club.
The 18-year-old former Stoke High School pupil scored a maximum in both legs of Bournemouth's National League Knock-Out win over Plymouth as well as helping the Buccaneers to win the league title.
He also scorched to success in the British Under-18 Championship. Currently working as a chef during the speedway close season, Hart has already served notice of his potential to be a successful international star.
But he is prepared to take it one step at a time.
“I will be riding in the National League again in 2010, with Mildenhall, and looking to become a No.1,” he said. “And also ride in the Premier League for Scunthorpe
“I am not ready yet for the Elite League and will give it one more year where I am.”
This will disappoint Ipswich Witches fans, who were hoping to have a promising young local rider back in their side following the tyre tracks of such distinguished riders as John and Chris Louis, Jeremy Doncaster and former British Under-21 champions Scott Nicholls, Savalas Clouting and Leigh Lanham.
Witches rider manager Chris Louis admits his club was slow in reacting when fellow Elite League outfit Lakeside signed up Hart as their asset.
“We were a bit slow taking notice of the progress Jerran had made last year before he got into regular league racing,” said Louis, who arranged for the youngster to be the Ipswich number eight this year.
“We missed the boat perhaps.
“It would be nice to carry on the traditions of the Witches and have two or three local riders in the team, but Lakeside came in and splashed the cash.
“Jerran may be a Lakeside asset, but we are not averse to using him and he is certainly a rider we are considering for next year.”
Hart appears to have ruled this out, and he doesn't think Lakeside will release him from his contract.
“Poole are the parent club of Bournemouth and they tried to buy me from Lakeside,” said Hart. “But Jon Cook the Lakeside team manager said no.
“He saw me ride last year and decided to sign me up.”
Hart's dad Steve and granddad David are avid speedway fans, and he said: “I have been going to Foxhall Stadium since I was a baby.
“I rode BMX bikes and then 125cc speedway machines at Sittingbourne when I was 11, but then took a break until I left school. Since then it has been full-on and I worked my socks off last winter to get fit and get the best out of this year.
“It worked and I have to be pleased with how it has gone.”

Witches set for changes
THERE will be changes to the Ipswich Witches 2010 line-up - as confirmed by Chris Louis last night.
Despite the Foxhall management saying they would like to keep the same seven that finished 2009, the points limit for 2010 of 40.95, means the Witches will have to make changes, with the team that finished last season averaging 42.95.
“It's no secret we were happy with the team that finished 2009,” Louis said.
“And we would have liked to keep it together, but that clearly won't be possible and we will have to wait on Scott Nicholls and Troy Batchelor, as they are owned by other clubs.
“Having said that, I want 2010 to be all about entertainment and excitement at Ipswich. I want seven Witches riders who will love the new track and entertain the fans.
“Danny King is someone we want back, he ended the season as our captain and had a great attitude.
“I've seen Danny race all over Europe and if the track changes go through at Foxhall, he is one rider who will love the newly-shaped circuit.
“All of our club assets are high on our list to race for us next year, but right here, right now, I can't say more than that, with the BSPA conference only just over.”
It is likely however King, Robert Miskowiak and Tobi Kroner are likely to return to the Witches line-up in 2010.
Scott Nicholls has already said he would be happy to return, but there will be some dependency on Coventry's stance, as he is their parent club.
Troy Batchelor was given an ultimatum last week from Swindon to decide what he wished to do as regards the Robins, with another club (not Ipswich), already having made an illegal approach for him.

David Stachyra - My performance was not bad. It can actually be divided into two phases. The first occurred when I was not confident on the part of rulers of the club. The next step was England. This part is characterized by learning about the track, falls and collecting valuable experience. At some point I was at point zero. But later I got a chance in Rzeszow, Poland, and began to use them. I managed to jump into the composition and gain quite a lot of points. In England, the time passed, this step falls. You could say that everything started to go in the right direction. I am pleased also that I got a chance of performing in Denmark. In a word, ending season was pretty good. We are gearing up slowly in terms of physical, think also about gaining new sponsors, mainly the new contracts in the league of Polish and foreign, we build a base, because it also takes some time - make two motorcycles to the Polish and as in my case, to England. Contract with Ipswitch is not yet signed, at 100 percent. I can not say that I went there, but I am no longer speaks in words, so it's only a matter of signing. And in Rzeszow are constantly turned the conversation and do not say no, rather so.

Witches planning a faster and more exciting Foxhall
“A track that will produce entertainment and excitement.”
Those were the hopes of Ipswich Witches rider/manager Chris Louis as the Foxhall speedway circuit gets set for major changes in the winter.
Although nothing is guaranteed – the finance alone will be in excess of £25,000 – Louis is determined to try to have the newly-shaped Foxhall circuit in place for the start of the 2010 campaign.
“The track will be slightly more circular and I’m sure the times will be a bit faster,” Louis said.
“But for me this is not about times, but more entertainment, different lines and different attitudes to our track. I want a track that will produce entertainment and excitement.
“I think when the fans see the finished article they are going to be impressed.”
However Louis is quick to point out the magnitude of the project and the projected costs means nothing is guaranteed.
“There is nothing I want more than to do this,” Louis added.
“And I will make sure it is done, but I’m not going to bankrupt the club to achieve it. Guy Nicholls from Forkrent has offered support, as have a couple of other local businesses, and any other help would obviously be appreciated. It is a big project.”
The difference the proposed changes would make to the circuit are significant, as Louis explained.
“The track will come in four and a half metres from the middle (apex) of the bends, and one and a half metres down the straights – that’s quite a lot.
“It is a long time since the track was last changed, back in John Berry’s day I think.
“But since the advent of lay-down engines, bikes’ characteristics have changes and riders speed more into the corner.
“Riders are also more aggressive today, space is what they need and that is what we want to provide them with at Foxhall.”
One man looking forward to the track changes is Witches captain Danny King. Sure to be back at Foxhall in 2010, King said: “I can honestly say I am so excited about the track changes.
“It will make such a difference to everything and I can’t wait for it. The club is so well run, but the track has become harder to overtake on bikes have changed. Now that looks set to change.”

Witches planning a faster and more exciting Foxhall “A track that will produce entertainment and excitement.” But will the Witches have exciting riders to ride it though Badgester ? I suggest you sign Krzysztof Buczkowski, and Eric Andersson, two exciting riders greatly missed in Britain and available for a snip.
