Hans has confirmed he wants regular rides in Britain for 2010. From speedwaygp.com
Danish racer Hans Andersen is certain he will start the season in the British Elite League next year, but remains uncertain as to his destination.
The 28-year-old opted not to race in the UK at the beginning of 2009. However, the decision backfired as he struggled for points in the opening rounds of the Grand Prix series.
Andersen accepted an offer to race for Poole and joined in early June, helping the team avoid the Elite League relegation play-off.
Despite the Dackarna rider missing out on the top-eight place he needed to qualify for the 2010 World Championship, there is no doubt the move breathed new life into his season.
So he is keen to spend a full season in Britain next term. His parent club Peterborough have first call on Andersen’s services, while the likes of Poole and Coventry could also be keen.
The Dane said: “There might be other clubs interested as well. I don’t know where I’m going but I’ll be back to racing a full schedule – that’s without a doubt.
“It’s an open playing field and I’ll have to see what happens in the next two weeks to a month. Then I’ll decide what’s best for me.”
Andersen will definitely be representing Dackarna in the Swedish Elitserien next year, although his Polish side Gdansk were relegated to the First Division.
The Danish international may seek a new club in the Ekstraliga, while he could also consider a move from his current Danish side Slangerup.
But wherever he goes, Andersen is determined to be part of winning teams. He said: “The most important thing is to ride for teams where we are winning. Once you’re winning, you have fun and just ride better and better.”
Andersen added: “I’m only staying where I am in Sweden at the moment. I’ve got to look into negotiating contracts throughout the rest of the world.
“I’ll have to see what happens with Gdansk because they got relegated. There might be some changes in Denmark as well. There could be a lot of changes going on.”

I seriously hope he comes back to where he belongs..... ! Add in the new promoter, who owns him, riders will ride where they want anyway and how much bad blood there is between Bratters and Frost, and also who really holds the Aces, interesting times? The new man and Frost might already have something in place

Strike Hans off your list I think we know where it's going to end Birmingham speedway club could step up to the Elite LeagueNov 5 2009 by Nigel Pearson, Birmingham Mail BIRMINGHAM will be asked to step up into the Elite League next week – if one of the current top-flight members pull out. The Perry Barr club have shown a willingness to talk about the prospect of racing with the best riders in the world since last month’s takeover by Gary Patchett. And with serious concerns over the future of Eastbourne – yet to find a new owner after Bob Dugard’s decision to retire – the door could be open for the Brummies to take on the likes of Wolves and Coventry. Patchett will attend the sport’s AGM in Bournemouth next week and alongside boss Graham Drury he is currently planning for another season in the Premier League. But he admits he is keeping a watchful eye on the situation at Eastbourne who, with one other Elite League club, are yet to confirm they will be at the tapes next March. “Nothing has changed for me, I will do whatever I feel is in the best interests of Birmingham Speedway and right now we are planning for the Premier League,” said Patchett. “But I have been made aware of the possibility of the Elite League approaching us about taking Birmingham into that league which is something I would be happy to discuss. “What it also means is that certain clubs wouldn’t be in a position to hold a gun to the heads of the other clubs because nobody is willing to step in – Birmingham are ready to step in given the right circumstances.” Should the Brummies go up it is inevitable they would feature on Sky Sports and they would be facing Grand Prix stars like Freddie Lindgren, Chris Holder and Hans Andersen. But in an interesting twist, new Brummies co-promoter Mick Bratley retains his close friendship with Andersen and speculation already suggests the Dane could be Perry Barr-bound along with Swindon assets thanks to Patchett’s involvement with the Elite League runners-up.

Strike Hans off your list I think we know where it's going to end Belle Vue Andersen snubs the Panthers for Belle Vue Aces! Peterborough Panthers owner Rick Frost has revealed that top rider Hans Andersen ignored the chance to return to the club next year. The city club own the 29 year-old Danish star who spearheaded their memorable march to Elite League glory in 2006. But Andersen has now joined Manchester club Belle Vue Aces on loan for 2010. Andersen's ctiy-based mentor Mick Bratley resigned as a Panthers promoter in October ahead of the appointment of Peter Oakes as director of speedway. Frost told the Evening Telegraph: "Hans has signed for Belle Vue on loan. "He was offered the chance of taking the number one position in our team as far back as September. I would have thought he would have jumped at the chance but he completely ignored the club. "It wasn't a case of us not being able to agree terms because we never got as far as actually discussing them. "I don't know whether it has anything to do with the departure of his advisor from the club." Panthers expect to unveil several members of their 2010 team at a fans' forum at the Marriott Hotel tomorrow. Reigning British Under 21 champion Lewis Bridger is the only man so far to be confirmed as a Panther next year. Niels Kristian Iversen and Kenneth Bjerre, who spearheaded the side last season, are both rumoured to be staying with the club. Panthers have frozen admission prices for next season and also cut the cost of season tickets. Full story in Wednesday's ET Source: Peterborough ET

"I don't know whether it has anything to do with the departure of his adviser from the club." What the adviser who had both a vested interest in Hans Andersen and that of Peterborough Speedway as Promoter... Don't make me laugh! Frosty should sell him as soon a possible to whoever will take this Elite Speedway Mercenary!

I still can't work out how Andersen ended up at Poole when Bratley so influenced the guy? Bratley's team aiming for 5th, Andersen wants to come back to the EL but joins Bratley's best mate Mr Ford at Poole. Had Andersen come back to Peterborough then Bratley would more than likely still been in post on the back of a better season. However Andersen made his own choice and the rest is history, sounds like the marriage from hell to me!
It's not often that Belle Vue and mercenary are linked.

"I don't know whether it has anything to do with the departure of his adviser from the club." Elite Speedway Mercenary! Does the word "Mercenary" have a different meaning where you live ? Does it mean someone who doesn't want to work if their not getting paid ?

But surely he walked (onwards and upwards ) because he didn't agree with the way Frosty wanted to take the club forward...! ;D

I understand that we are getting a loan fee from Birmingham for the use of the tool (no that doesn't mean Genghis) during 2010.
