The Robins will now use Justin Sedgmen as their #8, replacing Steve Boxall. One has to wonder why, unless it's finally sunk in that he shouldn't have been named at all Now to get rid of Leigh Lanham before Monday lol!!

Did I hear it correctly last night on Sky when it was said that Swindon would be announcing a replacement for Thomas J Jonasson today?
If so, does anyone know who it may be?

SWINDON have swooped for Polish teenager Maciej Janowski as a replacement for Thomas H. Jonasson, but Robins boss Ronnie Russell insists the banned Swede remains an integral part of the club’s future.
Nineteen-year-old new boy Janowski will go straight into the line-up for Thursday’s Elite League meeting against Coventry at Blunsdon, after Jonasson was handed a one-month suspension following his failure to turn out for Swindon at Ipswich on Monday.
Janowski is highly thought of abroad and currently lies fifth in the World Under 21 championship with one round to go, while he also won the Polish Under 21 Championship in 2008.
Robins management had originally anticipated bringing the Wroclaw charger in for 2011, but have managed to convince him to come in for the scheduled eight remaining league meetings this season, as Russell explained.
“This was a rider we had already sourced in readiness for next season,” he said.
“His commitments such as the World Under 21 Championship were too extensive at any stage to have had him in earlier this year.
“When we knew Thomas would get a suspension we seized the opportunity yesterday to contact him (Janowski), to ask if there was any chance of him committing for the rest of the season. He asked for confirmation of our fixtures and then said ‘yes, I can’.
“Him signing now is a plus for Swindon because it shows there’s still a genuine commitment and that we are all looking for the future. He comes with lots of credentials and lots of people are tipping him to be very good.”
Janowski, who also rides for Piraterna in Sweden and Diedenbergen in Germany, will be given a five-point average that he will retain for the next British season.
Meanwhile, Russell has given his backing to Jonasson for 2011, stating that the all-action youngster is very much a part of his plans for the next campaign.
The Swede has missed five flights this season, including on Monday, but has impressed in Robins kevlars when he has turned out, and Russell said: “He’s one of the riders we’re building our future on, that’s why we invested in him. Most people will have seen just how good he can be in the Grand Prix on Saturday, but by his own admission his organisation is very, very poor.
“He’s tried to race in three countries without being sorted out and we’ve told him we’ll get organised on his behalf for next season.”
