And it starts with a win over the Stoke Potters this afternoon, but the Potters take a point for keeping things close: GLASGOW..481..S Parker..3,2',3,3,3 = 14+12..J Grajczonek..2',3,3,0 = 8+13..W Lawson..3,3,2,3,3,0 = 144..A Conda..R/R 5..J Grieves..0,3,1,0 = 46..M Davey..1',0,1,0,0,1 = 3+17..L Dicken..2,2,1,0,0 = 58..J McBain = DNRSTOKE..421..J Bunyan..0,2,2',2 = 6+12..J Kristiansen..1,0,2,3 = 63..K Jakobsen..1',0,1',2 = 4+24..L Complin..2,2,2,2,2 = 105..R Ksiezak..3,0,3,1',1' = 8+26..C Branney..0,1,1,1' = 3+17..T P Madsen..3,1,1',0 = 5+1Taken from: users.boardnation.com/~easy_tiger/

And Edinburgh's season begins to disintegrate as paulco's beloved heathen Tigers score a relatively easy win at the Messiahdome this afternoon: GLASGOW..551..S Parker..3,3,3,2',2' = 13+22..J Grajczonek..0,2',2,0 = 4+13..W Lawson..3,1,3,3,2 = 124..A Conda..R/R 5..J Grieves..3,3,2,3,3 = 146..M Davey..1',2',0,2',1',0 = 6+47..L Dicken..2,1,0,1',2' = 6+28..J McBain = DNREDINBURGH..381..R Fisher..2,3,0,0,W = 52..M Rajkowski..1',2',3,3,1,0 = 10+23..M Dilger..1,1',1',1 = 4+24..M Wethers..0,0,2,2,6,1 = 115..A Tully..R/R 6..A Summers..3,2,1,1,0,1 = 87..B Bekker..0,0,0,0 = 0Taken from: www.monarchs-chatzone.co.ukTo make matters worse for the champions, Ryan Fisher crashed out of the meeting in Ht 11 - hopefully nothing too serious and the guy is back with the Monarchs very soon. They really can't afford to lose Fisher for any length of time. Incidentally, the Messiah broke his own Ashfield track record for the umpteenth time.

Just shows what happens when a team (Edinburgh) plumps for a crap German (Dilger) ahead of local talent (Lawson).

Is that an attempt at a wind-up or what, genghis? It would be a fair point if there was any accuracy in it

What a great meeting. Some excellent racing from both sides tonight. Parker was imperious. His heat 15 has to be seen to be believed! Passing two riders in two laps to get a heat 15 5-1. Simply incredible.
A fantastic honour to finally meet the legend that is Paulco. Shared a few tins at the post meeting BBQ. What a guy. Hope he has a safe journey home.
Simple fact is. Monarchs were just not at the races today. Glasgow outgunned them in every deparment.

Hope he has a safe journey home. Was he in a bit of a state? All of us were Sub. The BBQ organisers were offering 12 cans of Fosters for a tenner. Thats all I need to say! Add into the fact we just destroyed our nearest and dearest ... I will leave the rest to your imagination.

Think you might want to check your facts. It wasn't a case that they chose not to sign him, he chose not to sign. Judging from a few comments in the Monarchs Chatzone chatroom, it seems as if Lawson and family expected the same level of supplication from the Edinburgh management as has been extended to Thomas H Jonasson and when it wasn't forthcoming, Lawson went elsewhere.

Maybe Lawson made the right decision then. It seems the Monarchs are happier signing Swedes and Germans these days. A shame because the Dale Devils used to be a cracking little team - but now any kind of youth policy seems to have been abandoned.

That's certainly not my understanding of events, but I cannot say for sure that what I have been told is correct. It seems the Monarchs are happier signing Swedes and Germans these days. A shame because the Dale Devils used to be a cracking little team - but now any kind of youth policy seems to have been abandoned. I don't think it's fair to say that they are "happier" to sign Swedes and Germans. They certainly wanted to sign William when he became available but were forced to move back to a German when he refused. It would be great if we still had the Devils, but unfortunately that operation wasn't viable. Maybe if they get a move to a new track it will come back as a possibility.

I suggest to you, no I will tell you, you are talking crap as usual. Maybe Lawson made the right decision then. It seems the Monarchs are happier signing Swedes and Germans these days. A shame because the Dale Devils used to be a cracking little team - but now any kind of youth policy seems to have been abandoned. What a pitiful comment to make but why should I be surprised. You have no idea at all what happens at Edinburgh just the tit bits of wrong info fed to you by a few on here with another agenda. As for the youth policy, where has it been abandoned? There are regular second halves for the juniors after the meetings and the Wildcats junior team is now recently back on track. What you more you doexpect us to do up here at the moment is beyond me! So do me a favour and stop posting crap till you actually KNOW what is going on.

ML - I've missed you telling me I'm talking crap. Welcome back. ;D Stop sucking up ;D As I posted on the ChatzoneWell done Glasgow, a polished performance. It was a shame the rain came when it did but there were still some entertaining races and passing. Shane Parker was superb not only in his racing but his team riding. Excellent stuff. James Grieves was back on song again and it was good to see William Lawson in amongst the points again even if he was a lucky boy with those two starting infringements. It was great to see the Raj scoring well again and once Matthew got over his first two bad ones he delivered a great piece of riding in heat 14 ably assisted by Aaron. The Fish had one of those days to forget but glad to see him get up from that awful crash. Max's improvement was good to see so fingers crossed it keeps on coming. Good to enjoy and drink with paulco after the meeting. Needless to say he was beaming ;D So bragging rights firmly back in the west....... for now
