Hatcham - at least you know who is the manager is, even if our views differ. I would like to nominate all those on the BSF who think that Jason Lyons is the British team manager.

Lets just give the job to someone who knows what they are doing, we will never know for sure what Nicholls would have scored tonight although in truth we have to admit it would be more than 1, but not picking Richardson for the HOME round in the World cup which could have seen us straight through to the final shows what a complete moron Lyon is. Please people don't let me down and act like the BSF sheep, some of them would be quite happy if they had come home and found Lyon 'doing their wife'.

Hatcham - had Rico scored a max on Monday, it still wouldn't have been enough - the Poles finished 20 points in front of us. Some of the stuff on the BSF is pure fantasy (we won't win the 2010 World Cup ), but in general I do approve of the British showing in this year's World Cup this year and I think Rob Lyon did a good job. I think I'll stop short of any kind of buggery involving Rob Lyon though.

Maybe your maths isn't that good old chap but had Richardson scored a maximum, which would have obviously meant an 18 point haul, as he would have been the only choice for the 'joker ride' and replaced Kennett who scored 3 that would of increased Team GB's tally by 15, it would also have reduced the other teams scores ie Heat 7 Hampel(3) Watt(2) Kennett(1) could have become Richardson(3) Hampel (2) Watt(1) that is a points differential of 3, what was a 2 point loss would have become a 1 point gain, so with Slovenia scoring so few points except for four Zagar rides, a Richardson maximum would have almost certainly guaranteed us a win.

The Global Superstar is the Steve Harmison of speedway - you never know which rider is going to turn up. How long do you perservere with such riders before looking for new blood? And the idea of Rosco being team manager is hilarious. ;D

And if Danny King had come out and won the heat that sealed qualification he would of been a genius.
The lot of you need to get a fucking grip. If he had picked Scott how do any of you know Scott wouldnt of crashed in his first heat and been out the meeting with an injury leaving you with just 4 riders left?

Well every GB fan seems to have a crystal ball showing them that Scott would of scored enough points to put you through. That is what is "rot"
Have you looked at the race off thread on the BSF? Someone has smartly posted Scotts European GP scpre from this year. Where Scott managed to score a massive meeting winning ........................ 1 haha yeah bring in Scott.
Bunch of whinging English morons never fucking happy. Your team did you proud they finished ahead of the world champions although be it injury ravaged. And they pushed the swedes to heat 25. What fucking more do you want from such a young team? Problem with the English/Brits is they want it all last week. They are not willing to look forward or see the good it will do in the future. They want the trophies and titles NOW. Scott wouldnt of made any difference. Atleast not in a good way, he may well of made sure you did finish 4th.

You are of course an astute judge. Gp fields are renowned for having riders of the calibre of Ruud, Hougaard, Davidsson, Klindt, Watt and Shields.
No problem with blooding a youngster (Woffinden), but filling the majority of your team with them in such a big meeting is pure folly. There's nothing to be proud of about being 5th in anything.

seems about half and half on the BSF Rob. As i say they would of been calling Lyon a genius had they managed to hold the Swedes off. But because the better of the 2 teams got 2nd he is a "wanker" etc
