No sign of rain here...bright sunny day. As for Hans, well I'm just setting off for the stadium with no clue on that score whatsoever!

Davidsson's incompetence gifts Team GB star Danny King a point in his first race at Poole, maybe Rob Lyon is hoping all opponents will 'fall on their sword' to gift Team GB a world cup final place.

Interestingly, Bjarne's riding for Poole tonight, despite being in the re-arranged Swedish fixture's original line-up - the one Nicholls is riding in.

And Joe Screen is contracted to the same club as the global superstar. Certainly DK wasn't as impressive last night as he was in the British Final, which is a worry. But Poole isn't P'boro so have faith. Another day, another meeting, another score. I hope! Good result last night, not so hot on the racing front, but right now my purist side is happy to ignore that and be happy at seeing a decent win. Ippo really were up against it - all six of our riders did well for us last night, just hope it's not a false dawn and we're back to normal for the next few meetings against the big hitters of the league. We might be out of things this season, but I harbour a wicked hope of our team being able to kibosh a few title and playoff aspirations along the way. Nothing better than being able to stir things up and induce a few squeaky bum evenings for those who really need the points
