So onto a new week. Last week Grachan did what he's perfectly entitled to do and ignored everyone else's nominations and picked one of his own. Therefore Phil Chard, a rather splendid chap who covers Poole Speedway for both the world's leading speedway magazine Speedway Star and Bournemouth Echo, ended up as the winner.
And this week is Cardiff week. With sort some of shennigans between Nicki P and the Russian almost certain to break out on Saturday night, we need someone very fair to pick the winner of this week's competition. Therefore Squrilie (often referred to as the voice of reason from the South Coast on the BSF) would you like to pick the winner? It'll be on Sunday this week, as I imagine most of us will be in Cardiff on Saturday evening.

Be nice to say hi to a few people on here, but I guess that's a pretty tricky one....! I'll be in U31....anyone gonna be nearby?

I nominate Sky Television for not knowing what fixture they're going to be televising this week. The Sky website says Lakeside versus Coventry and everyone else says Lakeside versus the Sausagemeister and Co.

Thanks Genghis..I'd be honoured. Let's hope for a juicy week I'm forgoing the delights of Cardiff this year. Unfortunately impending unemployment means I'm saving my pennies. So you may well get a quick verdict on Saturday should the GP gods smile down on us

Always knew the brown-nosed 21stcenturyheathen would become a total, complete and utter prick once he finally got his hands on a moderation gig at the BSF and it looks like once again I was right.

The Flapperjack Of The Week award gets a mention of page 17 of Jeff Scott's new book, "Quantum Of Shale", which I bought at Somerset tonight. ;D

Yes, I would say so. Off to Cardiff shortly, but will post it sometime tomorrow (depending on how quickly I get back from Rye) or Monday - if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

I'd like to nominate Ashley Holloway, for his comments about Nicki Pedersen at the Danish GP, comments on the net this week (in the Sajfutdinov cheating thread) and his assault on Scott Nicholls.

I'll second that. Riders can be excused slightly cos of running adrenalin. Pit crew should get involved only to calm things down. Running out of the pits when it was all over and shoving another competitor is disgusting.
For the record I can't stand Nicholls.....that stems from a punch up too.

Afraid I'm gonna have to third that and Nicholls is no favourite of mine either.
