Paid for the actual points, I think. I thought they were talking rubbish as I thought Hans was in the picture at Poole a few weeks ago and that didn't happen. But they were also saying Bjarne is riding rubbish due to the pay situation.

You should remember that Peterborough release Peterborough news not Poole.
Matt Ford's main aim in this is to enable "Poole" to significantly strengthen over the next couple of weeks and he will say anything if it meant he could get his own way. From Panthers forum (the proper one!)

Speaking about rules and regulations, has a "Supplementary Regulation" been issued allowing an increase in the average limit? As it stands, assuming a 5% weighting on Andersen's 2008 average, my guess at Poole's re-declared line-up isn't far away from 42 points: H Andersen..9.62 C Holder..8.47 B Pedersen..6.93 J Screen..6.03 D Davidsson..3.65 C Stonehewer..3.64 P Hurry..3.59 That little lot adds up to 41.93. Averages taken from: www.british-speedway.co.ukSubedei, it is a 2.5% weighting, which brings Andersen' average to 9.39 Squirlie is right, Ford didn't want to go down this route and it will make us much too top heavy...again. But we have to do something, otherwise I fear Poole will close. We don't want to lose another track!

Poole close because they might not finish in the play-offs? FFS, talk about dummy spitting! Someone has to be a loser each year, Poole have had a good rub of the green over a good few recent years, but they're not always going to be up there near the top.

One can't help but wonder whether the Poolesters were similarly concerned about Wolverhampton closing last season, or Belle Vue this season. And Outraged of Dorset is never shy of reminding people about the asphalt squads heading to Brandon. Is "closure" the threat used by Ford on this occasion?

I wouldnt be too sure about that - right now I think many many fans up and down the country would be glad to see the back of them All in all a sad situation

Interesting to see that Cecil is claiming crowds have nose dived this year, but he declines to actually give any figures.

Seems that Screen has been given his higher average so Poole can't fit Hurry in.

So does that indicate the BSPA agreed with the majority of the British speedway world then in that Poole were cheating?
Losing Hurry isn't a huge punishment though really, they've still done enough (or not as the case has been ) to squeeze Andersen into the main body of their team.

Little bit of justice then Interesting that Hans didn't want to join the Horrors as that would have mean't a couple of his mates would have had to be dropped but he doesn't mind that 4 riders have had to be dropped to bring him in at Poole.(mind you I expect they are strangers to him )
