Taken from the BSF: Looks like it,s a straight choice for Simon now between The Bees & The Witches. The only way he'll get in at Wolves is if Howe or Freddie are overlooked. It's all down to what deal he can get i suppose? As a personal choice of which track or where he would feel most at home, & part of a top set-up, only 1 choice really
.....and what do you know The Daily Star Sunday(edited by Peter Oakes)says today that Simon has turned down Ippo & the man himself has stated Coventry are the ONLY club he wants to ride for next season.Simon isn't Scotty i know Bees fans, but then we have no control over that do we.This now has the makings of a top 5 that will wipe the floor with any other.

Simon Stead would be an awful signing for either Ipswich or Coventry - a vastly over-rated joke of a rider.

I'll agree with you Sube that Simon hasn't lived up to the potential he showed as a young lad, much the same as most British riders, but he's still only 25,he says in that article that this is a big year for him & Coventry is the place he wants to be.Simon isn't stupid, he knows the spirit in the Bees team & wants a part of it to help him achieve those goals.

Is that what he says? Let's remind ourselves of what he said around this time last year: www.speedwayworld.tv/en/news/a7093?SID=209d4a302e871ac2edb6728363ea5e65I'm sorry, but if he wasn't stupid, he wouldn't be saying such outrageous things. Simon Stead will never ever, not ever, that's to say never, be a GP standard rider. And Coventry would be stupid to sign him.

Wolves have announced Fredrik Lindgren as their number one, which to my way of thinking excludes PK.

Well with only 13.90 left for 3 riders, wouldn't he be too high an average?, also I understood he was wanting to cut down on meetings this year, and it is a known fact that the Louis' don't go with riders only doing part of a season, or we would have had Gollob and Jarek back in previous seasons....nope sorry Kev got my negative head on AGAIN ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)

What about Ales Dryml on a nice 5 points? You certainly know how to kick someone when they're down, don't you Schumi? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) You know what always comes with Ales Dryml.............yeah, that's right, and Ipswich don't deserve that!!!! ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)
