It looks that way - now all you have to do is convince him that March, April, May, June, July and August are all really September or October and you've a genuine No 1 on your hands.

Lol oh so true Sube, must admit not Bobby's biggest fan as he is so unpredictable, however if as you say he could ride throughout the season as he does Aug and Sept he'd be a real star.

And to add to that, from speedwayworld.tv ROBERT Miskowiak has already put pen to paper on a contract to stay with Ipswich in 2008. The former World Under-21 Champion has been in terrific form in the closing weeks of the season, with high scores at home and away, and he hopes that his fourth season with the club will see him make a real breakthrough. Ipswich endured a troubled season, made even tougher by the early injury to Mark Loram, but their early start to team building was well received by supporters at their end of season awards night. Miskowiak said: "I have said I would only race in England for Ipswich, and that is how I feel. "I signed my contract for 2008 on Friday, but as yet I have no idea if any club in Poland wants me. But I don't worry about that now, I love Ipswich and hope I can keep on improving." The Witches are likely to make some changes after finishing low down the Elite League table, but two more names from 2007 who are likely to return are captain Chris Louis, heading for 20 years with the club, and rider of the season Tobias Kroner.

Not good news for Mark Loram, unfortunately. From http://www.speedwayworld.tv: MARK Loram's hopes of a comeback at the start of the 2008 season have received a severe setback as he needs another operation on his thigh. Loram suffered the serious leg injury when he crashed in the very first race of Ipswich's Elite League season and was ruled out for the entire campaign. His thigh bone is still not knitting together, and the 2000 World Champion will now have a bone graft in Norwich Hospital. Loram said: "There is no blood flow around the wound. This is a measure of the severity of the injury and the mess it made. "A bone from another part of my body is to be grafted together with the soft tissue that surrounds it. This should allow a blood supply to provide natural healing. "I am still in considerable pain, and expect to see a specialist in Norwich in around three weeks."

Well I think I will wait for an official announcement from the club TBH, just recently the paper, although our main sponsor, has been printing dubious stories, (although tbf it is Mike's article rather than Elvin's ), but if true.....whoopeee!!! Especially after hearing Mark really down in the dumps this evening in a radio interview about his leg injury. He's not sure even when he can get an appointment to see the specialist, let alone when he can have the operation, or as he says, even if the operation would be a success . Poor lad.

Well it does seem that the sun is finally starting to shine around Foxhall. It would be good for all three parties if a deal is concluded.........Ipswich, Jaroslaw and British Speedway!
I also found this extract interesting, and it throws cold water over the 'too many meetings in Britain' stories..........
“But also I only had about 20 meetings in Poland and 20 in Sweden last season and I need more than that. England will provide me with that. Of course I don't have the Grand Prix, but I needed more meetings anyhow.”

I told you you the sun was starting to shine mate. I reckon you'll need to borrow Blondie's Raybans and get in a supply of Factor 12 for the new season. I see Hans isn't a certainity at EoES either , and the Gollob rumours have yet to surface

Chris Louis on the radio this evening said.....More signing/s in a couple of days, so nailed on that one is Tobi, but whether there is another one hmmmmm not sure. Not Jarek yet, but that is looking more realistic from what he said. ;D He virtually said that Danny King would definitely NOT be back with the Witches, or the chances were remote. Just a feeling, but think that he might, just might go to Lakeside

As part of the deal, how about we loan you Paul Hurry, I know he'd be a very popular signing with LW.
