I'm often amazed that riders get back on track so quickly after a concussion. Plenty of other sports have a mandatory rest period after a concussion and it seems incredible that a sport like speedway doesn't have one as well. Speedway just isn't that "tight" a sport when it comes to things like concussion. I seem to remember that Britain used to have a seven day mandatory break after concussion, but, of course, that just applies to British racing. There doesn't appear to be anything to stop a determined rider from popping over to Poland for some racing. There appears to be no "cross border" concensus.

In other words, an excuse for him to miss his Edinburgh commitments this week then return to action for his Swedish club next Tuesday. This bloke is a serial piss taker. He doesn't turn up for Belle Vue either. For fucks sake get your facts correct before you open that huge gob of yours and let rattle. Honest to god the fact that THJ breathes is a bone of contention to you and to be honest it shows you up for the twat you really are.

It looks like paulco could have a bit of peace-keeping to do when genghis visits Armadale later in the season. However, in other news, according to Merlin over on the Chatzone, Jonasson will definitely be missing when the Bandits come calling on Friday. No, he's not avoiding Makovsky, he's getting over a bout of concussion sustained in a crash in Sweden yesterday.

Yep what Merlin has posted is true which makes the weekend matches especially at Workington, even harder if Andy isn't fit.

Dont be silly sube THJ is never genuinely injured its all lies to have a long weekend in poland. Atleast thats what that tosser Genghis will have people believe. The sooner he realises Oxford aint coming back and deals with that pain and jealousy in a more constructive manner the better.

Would be good to know exactly why genghis has chosen to have yet another go at THJ though Wacks. THJ's father and brother are over for this weekend so it's highly unlikely he is feigning any injury just to stay at home

But I don't like to see riders take the continual piss out of British Speedway. And THJ is a prime example of rider who does.

You are evading the points as usual.
How being concussed is taking the piss?
As I said before you know nothing.

You are evading the points as usual. How being concussed is taking the piss? ML - in which case, it's a "Peter And The Wolf" scenario. He's taken the piss so many times already (such as missing Glasgow v Edinburgh this year to practice in Poland), that he's not going to be believed now even when he has a genuine reason. I'm not sure why you're getting in such a tizz about this to be honest.

He's taken the piss so many times already (such as missing Glasgow v Edinburgh this year to practice in Poland), that he's not going to be believed now even when he has a genuine reason. As I said you know nothing. Let me put the facts to you. THJ missing the Edinburgh/Glasgow match was one of the meetings Edinburgh had been told about in advance. It was also his Swedish team that was practising in Poland that weekend as Schumi had already pointed out to you on another thread before but as usual you have tunnel vision in anything to do with THJ. He did crash on Tuesday and was taken to hospital immediately where he was diagnosed concussion. Pray tell me which part of the above explanations don't you understand? I'm not sure why you're getting in such a tizz about this to be honest. Really? Well you are thicker than I thought. Could it be your continual badmouthing of this rider no matter what the circumstances. I see you always defend Dribble though. Talk about double standards.

ML - for goodness sake, lighten up Anyone would think I only go on about THJ (and I doubt if you can justify all his numerous absences from 2008 ). If you notice, I have also criticised other riders, one example being Scott Nicholls for missing the ELRC and EL Pairs last season. Calm down.

No wacks not being a knob just wondering why genghis is being a twat and going on about THJ faking injury so he doesnt have to ride for Edinburgh the guy is concussed. What does a rider need to be injured with before its acceptable to miss a meeting?
